Stuff is great, helps me sleep, but I can function through it if needed
I don't use this often, but when I need it a half dose is nearly always enough to put me to sleep. If, however, I'm called into work or need to funtion I can work through it. Other OTC things I've tried have knocked me out so hard I can't function if needed and caused other side effects.

VERY easy to take
For me, personally, this product works wonders. Lately my sleep schedule has been messed up-- I'd sleep until noon and stay awake until 4am. It happens every summer--I treat myself to a few days of sleeping in to reward my year's hard work, and then it would spiral out of control until it was just habit. But I need to stop now that I'm in college and I have adulting to do. So I figured I'd use this once or twice to get me into bed at a reasonable time, so I'd wake up at a reasonable time. I took it at midnight, got in bed, and was out in half an hour. Which is insane. Because it normally takes me two hours to fall asleep. I woke up refreshed and I wasn't achey or groggy at all.I also gave two liquicaps to my roommate. She had only slept ten hours in the past four days due to excessive nightmares. She took it, knocked out, and slept for ten hours. Doubled her sleep count instantly! She said she didn't necessarily wake up refreshed, but that she was rested, which is what she needed. Now, I know that this is the same thing as benadryl. Same ingredient. But honestly, the effects seem stronger with this. This is most likely due to the placebo effect--you think you're getting something tailored specifically to help you sleep. The packaging is nice--its purple night with stars everywhere!! So comforting. And then the liquid gels look fancy--they're small and purple. VERY easy to take. So when you get these, you think, yeah, these are gonna help me sleep. And then they do!! Because that's how powerful your mind is. Even when you KNOW its a placebo (and these technically aren't, since they DO have an ingredient in them), it works. So yeah, you can skip the whole moon and the zzz's and the stars, but when you swap it out for neon pink pills... you're taking away the placebo effect, which is why (I think, as a psychology student) these work so well. These would work well for the occasional night that you cant get to sleep for anything--the tossing and turning and worrying kind. Or when you need to fix your sleep schedule. Or when you need to stop dreaming as much.

I purchase the capsules for when I am traveling
This works well, I feel a bit drowsy when getting up in the morning, but that goes away after 30 minutes. Prior to using this product, I would be up half the night.

Love the results...HATE THE PACKAGING
It's 11:30 at night, I'm tired but I can't fall to sleep. I stumble into the bathroom to take a couple Zzzzquil Nightime Sleep-aid Liquidcaps and the torture begins. I pull the box out of the cabinet and try to get the blister pack open. It's like an iron glove around these pills and it's not going anywhere. I use my teeth...no luck. I stumble towards the den (all the way at the other end of the house), trip over dog one (I'm not turning on any lights because I don't want to wake anyone else up and I don't want to lose the tiny bit of drowsiness that I have) so I trudge along and trip over dog two (I just knew I shouldn't have adopted two very dark dogs who are completely invisible in the dark, hindsight is 20/20 but I digress).I make it to the den where there is a pair of scissors in the desk drawer and fumble for the low wattage lamp on the desk so I can kinda see what I am doing. I sit down, rub my big toe that bumped into the not one but two dogs in the hallway then get at that packaging with those scissors making a mental note to remember to buy a pair of scissors for the bathroom so I never have to go through this again. I get these tiny little pills out of the packing and head back to the bedroom trying to remember the mental picture of where the dogs were when I ran them over the first time.I get past dog one with no issues (Yeah me!) but alas, I'm celebrating too soon and stumble over dog two or as I like to fondly refer to him as "The Rock" all while clutching those tiny pills in my hot little hand praying I don't drop one or both of them. I crawl back into bed, and fumble on the nightstand for my bottle of water. I find it take my little pills and fall asleep 15 minutes later.I wake up in the morning with a sore toe but am refreshed from a good night's sleep and absolutely no memory of making a mental note to buy scissors for the bathroom! Why oh why can't they just put them in a bottle like Tylenol PM?P.S. I love my beautiful rescue dogs dearly and don't begrudge them being invisible in the dark at all!
