CD sounds better…. Very poor recording

I have the 1979 Vinyl EP release (Mono ??) of Ullasa Paravaigal. I found this new 2023 LP release better than the Original. New release has additional treble and increased volume. 1979 release was more voice focussed and this one is more music focussed.Cover label is not impressive. They should have selected different poster. Cover paper is also not good. They just printed on School White Chart paper.
