This trial Bakugan set took our nine year old minutes to assemble and use in a battle. He just used it as an additional obstacle in the area he already had. It comes with a joiner too to easily add to other sets from the same series. The set includes a blue sort of octopus Bakugan sphere that pops open as usual but no card. The spinning wheel feature is weird though. It clicks and loads to spin really fast when touched by a finger but seems to have no impact on the actual Bakugan or battles. The ramp on the training set does not make it ever touch the wheel, the three Bakugan holders have no direct route to the wheel. We have looked at online unboxing videos but they seem equally unsure what the wheel is meant to do except for intentionally aiming a Bakugan sphere at the wheel. Will update if we ever figure out a good use!UPDATE: on its own it is a bit rubbish but as an alternative section in the Battle Arena it is way more fun. The spinning wheel works and has a purpose when used as part of the separate arena set! Add a star with that!
