Watercolor Pencils, 3.3mm Core, Metal Tin, 12 Count (2301941)

I have always found painting in watercolors to be difficult, however with these easy to use watercolor pencils, you simply draw and shade as using a regular colored pencil, but when you come back and hit it with a bit of either rubbing alcohol or water, the colors blend beautifully and become more intense. I have even used the colored pencils to touch up acrylic paintings that I have done. I have bought two sets so far and intend to buy others as I use these up.

New to art and I ordered these . They work great and to me a must have .

Nice set of watercolor pencils, as this is my first ever set, I don't have anything to compare them to, so I'm not sure if they are good or bad. They work well for what I need them for, so that's good enough for me

Really nice quality for the pencils and the case the case is a nice sturdy metal and closes nice and tight and the pencils draw really smooth the colour goes on the paper really smooth and shows up well like they're really pigmented i think is how you would say it and they blend well. A great buy for the price I'd say

They work great for sketching onto my canvas. Acrylic paint easily covers or blends in.

i didnt see any review on amazon before i bought it. i like the white tin box design and wooden color pencil style very much. i also watched a video about this product on YouTube from derwent. it is nice and i see the result of these lovely watercolor pencils. i really very happy to get it. good price compare to another brand. of course good quality in academy level.

For the price range it has a questionable quality, I know it is the academic range, but it does not meet standards to be called Derwent, for the price I recommend going for the Lyra, or invest a little more and go for Fabercastell Goldfaber Aqua

I bought this set for my son who's 8 years old, drops thing like anything, but to my surprise this set of pencils can take a fall, without breaking the lead inside, which doesn't fall off when sharpening. Colour is rich and vibrant. Comes in nice tin box. But the delivery made it dented. Amazon should take care of packaging like bubble wraps. Otherwise loved it.
