UPDATE: Customer Service reached out to me, and offered to send me a replacement. The replacement works fine, and I am now happy with this spirit box. It works like it should, and now I have no complaints. Thanks to CS for making this a good purchase.Out of all the different spirit boxes I have, this is the worst. This one looked like the SBox, so I thought I would give this one a try. Bad idea. So my two main complaints are:1) The sound isn't loud enough, even if I use an external speaker.2) There are four speeds. Even the fastest speed is too slow compared to other spirit boxes.

This device is amazing! Definitely worth the money, recommend 10/10 to any first timer ghost hunters! Super long battery life and the sound quality is actually better then most off brand devices! This is the spirit box to have!

I spend more time trying to figure out if it's a radio station that's spitting out another word or if it's a real spirit. You ought to dig up a different hobby unless you got a couple of years on your hands. But just like my ex-wife ,they all do the same thing they make a wicked lot of noise but you can't understand anything they're saying.the features are excellent on this device. Like it's got a flashlight for when you want to see your way out of the hell you just put yourself in.

I'm glad I purchased this instead of other spirit boxes. It is very easy to use and has a loud speaker. It's perfect sized for portability. Performs well and only thing missing is being able to adjust noise but I highly recommend.

This is pure digital AM FM radio making it extremely over priced for the limited function. It is marketed as some paranormal which I thought would make my kids thinks it was scanning something. The box is promoted and marketed as some paranormal scanning product. Upon opening and quickly you realize it's just nothing but an extreme over priced digital radio. Do Not Buy.......

This is a very nice unit which provides a great experience as a spirit box with all the features of the SB-7. I only have one problem that I experienced. When I received the unit something heavy was shaking around inside. It easily disassembled to reveal the ferrite antenna had broken off its glued mount. I easily took my glue gun and glued it back. It only took 5 minutes but at this price it should not have been. That is why I dropped my rating to 3 stars. This would have been a five star review otherwise.

If you're in the ghost hunting and you're serious about doing it, then this is the thing for you. I have that many hits on this machine in all. Continued to use it for songs that stays working. I've looked for this same product on other sites but Amazon is the only one with the fair price

AM/FM sweep at different speeds, reverse or forward. We love options! Saw another review criticizing too many radio stations in sweeps, which is a weird critique if you ask me. If you are familiar with the classic SB7, it’s the same with some added perksLove that it records! One downside: the volume drops significantly when you’re recording and there’s no way to adjust this. I recommend getting an outside speaker, but this can really come in handy if you are doing the Estes method and need to use it for video content.Worth it.
