Perfect for what I needed. Worth getting cake box as well
Really easy to use. Probably worth heating silicone up and washing before use

Just what I needed!
I was very impressed with these moulds. They were just what I needed to make my Grandmas 80th birthday cake.I had a few practice goes to establish a good recipe/make sure I could get the sponges out of the tins.I didn’t like the recipe that came in the pack, so used my old trusty one as below:200g butter200g SR flour200g caster sugar4 eggs1tsp baking powder2tbsp milkI tripled this to fill both the 8 and the 0 (e.g. 600g of each and 12 eggs)I found the best technique was to make the sponges separately to make for easier layering so the above made two thinner 8’s and two thinner 0’s that I then sandwitched.Would buy more numbers if needed!

Worked well
Not used silicone cake molds before, but reviews seemed good, so gave it a go. Followed all the instructions, including putting greaseproof paper on baking tray, under molds. Came out well.

Did the job perfectly
Did just the job, used the recipe that came with it. My first time using a mould like this so I’d recommend practicing before you make the final creation to get all the mistakes out the way like I did :-)

Easy to use, good results
Really easy to use. Fairly easy to clean. It's quite big! You need a fair amount of mix but there were guidelines for quantity included. The 8 can be quite delicate and breaks easily is your making sponge.

Fantastic cake moulds
Slightly nervous about my first silicon 'tin' purchase but these were fantastic and cooked 2 x 80th birthday cakes beautifully. They cook pretty evenly although with the first cake the mixture at the bottom of the moulds (touching the baking tray) was slightly overcooked but I solved this for the next cake by putting a couple of layers of baking paper on the tray. I followed the instructions regarding greasing the moulds and allowing the cakes to cool and the cakes cake out of the moulds with ease. Fantastic! Hardest part was icing the cakes afterwards!

Great bakeware, first time cooking with silicone - good ...
Great bakeware, first time cooking with silicone - good quality, easy to use.Make sure it's greased well and let the cake cool totally before turning out. Was able to cook cake in advance. I cut the cake into layers and put it back in the silicone backware with filling done, covered with cling film and froze it so saved time on icing dayAdditional note - place greaseproof paper at bottom of silicone before adding cake mixture and cooking, this helps with turning cake out when cooled.
