For all of you car audio junkies out there like myself hands-down some of the loudest 6.5’s I have heard for the price bought them for my Ranger will be buying them for my truck

They sound at least as good if not better than Hertz speakers it replaced that cost 6 times MORE!

I’m impressed for the price honestly
Using 8 of them in a 28’ Tritoon. Also using the Recoil 1200.4 amp.I have 4 sets wired in 2ohm configuration getting roughly 100 watts RMS each at full volume so the amp is hardly breaking a sweat, but still gets hot to the touch for some reason.I haven’t installed the Subs yet so I’m sending a full frequency range to these for the time being.They sound great and get plenty loud without distortion. Obviously the lack in the bass department but that not what these are designed for. These are designed for LOUD.When the subs are in I’ll set the hpf to 120 and turn the wattage up to around 140 watts each at my set max volume.If these 8 speakers were cut off at like 280-300Hz they would be absolute screamers!I’m impressed for the money for sure.Lost the 5th star because they decided to use a tiny ass spade lead for the negative terminal for ABSOLUTELY NO REASON AT ALL.

Do extensive research before buying
Did not perform as described. Should have left my factory 6.5s installed. I ended up buying a much cheaper pairs of 6.5s and they out performed the recoils 5 to 1. The build is okay. But unfortunately these are not the 6.5s to use if you are try to enrich your sound system.

Recoil 6.5 spk tweeters
Put these spk on a 100 rms amp epic four amp and thay can't hold up in pwr that thay say is the rating tweeters bad.
