I'm really happy with the purchase. It's big enough and looks great as a centrepiece in my living room. It's Styrofoam coated in mirror squares that aren't aligned perfectly, so I saw some reviews saying the quality isn't worth the price. But imagine how long it must have taken to glue every single piece around that ball? I hope whoever is making these is being paid fairly.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this one as it claimed to be “not like the others” construction was on the lazy side with gaps, buckled mirror strips and a somewhat distorted sphere. That being said BUY YOURSELF A DISCO BALL. I’m going through it at the moment and having light dance around my room definitely helps lift my mood. Installed this in my art studio and it has given the vibe I wanted, I just think it’s a bit expensive for the quality.

Some questionable reviews about this FX Lab 30cm mirror ball. But for £30 I'd say it's good value. Solid polystyrene core covered with real glass mirror tiles. Stout fixing bolt on top. Very light. Arrived next day undamaged.

This was perfect and as described! Would definitely recommend this over other disco balls on here, even for the price this was higher quality than a different product that was more expensive.

Having read the reviews I thought this would be a good disco ball to choose. As can be seen from the pictures the quality control on this one was not good. Uneven tiles stuck to a polystyrene core. You may be able to get away with it from a distance but not up close. Have returned for refund.

The media could not be loaded. Love this. Using it in the garden to create a drifty kind of underwater feel. The kids love our night time fun in this crazy hot weather (August 2020).The product is solid but light, with a strong hanging connection. Worth noticing that this doesn't have a secondary safety mount if that's something you need.If you've every bought a cheap mirror ball before (like me) you'll certainly notice the difference with this. Solid plastic ball, absolute minimal gaps between the mirror facets, and the tiny mirror facets are all exceptionally well cut and level meaning no sharp edges to touch, and the reflection image is really sharp.Really happy with this, and being able to provide a unique atmosphere in the garden and for kids sleepovers.
