We purchased the Banana Boat Sport 360 Coverage Sunscreen Spray SPF 50 (Non-Aerosol) for our daughter’s first Girl Scout camp trip, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice! I hadn’t realized until recently how harmful traditional aerosol sunscreens can be — both for our health and the environment. Aerosols contain volatile organic compounds (VOCs), which can irritate the lungs and contribute to air pollution and smog.This non-aerosol spray is a game-changer. It provides even, consistent coverage and goes on quietly — no loud hissing sound like with aerosol cans. It’s also reassuring to know that it’s safer to store in places like the car without worrying about it exploding or catching fire in the heat (which, frankly, is terrifying and something I never thought about before).This will definitely be our go-to sunscreen from now on. It works well, feels safer, and aligns with our values. Highly recommend!

Was looking for a non-aerosol spray sunscreen. Had a chance to use it last week in Arizona. The application was easy to apply and the product (Banana Boat) worked well. An added perk: the bottle is refillable!

This spray is awkward to use, but ultimately protected our skin. It's hard to describe, but it is like a delayed response when spraying. All in all fine, but probably wouldn't buy again.

We've come a long way from the sleep away camps of my childhood - aerosol sprays are prohibited at the camp my son goes to, and a mom can dream that a boy will put sun screen on even when she's not there to nag him. This meets the camp requirements and it is easy for an older child (7+) to manage on their own, with supervision naturally. Getting kids into the habit of applying the stuff can save them many medical bills down the line and I appreciate how easy it is to use, and the locking cap being very secure.

My kids prefer this to the compressed air spray. It’s not as cold.

I love how easy this product makes it to apply sunscreen. I have fair skin and need to reapply pretty often. It is a non aerosol pump spray that you can refill so cut down on waste. Any little things I can do to reduce the amount of trash I generate is a win.Works great, haven't gotten a sunburn yet this year!

Really like banana boat. Bought this as was aerosol free, but it doesn't last long at all.

I really wanted to like this sunscreen, but it fell short in several ways. First, the 360° spray is misleading—it clogs easily and doesn’t dispense evenly. Instead of a fine mist, it sputters and leaves uneven patches, making reapplication a hassle.Second, the formula itself feels greasy and sits on the skin instead of absorbing properly. It leaves a noticeable residue that feels sticky, especially in humid weather. Despite claiming to be "sport" sunscreen, it runs into my eyes with sweat, causing major irritation.Lastly, the non-aerosol bottle seems like a great eco-friendly idea, but it requires a lot of effort to get the product out. The spray stops working when there’s still a decent amount left in the can, which is super frustrating given the price.For the cost, I expected something much better. I won’t be repurchasing again.
