Great item for the price.

4 not 5 for hearing protection
This does the job. BUT, it is hot. There is no ventilation holes. The visor IS dark, almost too much. Ear protection is not as good as I need. The right one never gets down well enough to shut all the noise off, but reduces it well (You do not sweat under the ear protection). The thing you should use to raise hearing protection up??? Not sure why they put that on. I like the knob in the back to tighten/loosen the head band is great. It is cheap made, but will last if cared for. I drilled 8 holes in the helmet for air circulation. I saw some hat fans which may work to draw air out or push it in. May try that. Saw them on cloth wide brim hats, one on each side. This helmet weight is not a problem, but I wore flight helmets, riot helmets, motorcycle helmets all my life during my different phases of my life. Even with the shield, wear safety glasses.

real nice helmet
nice helmet, paid for itself already when a big branch hit me in the head, ear protectors work great too

Not built for life...
The price is right for someone cutting a couple trees down occasionally, but overall the helmet feels cheap and wouldn't keep you safe from context to the helmet. The plastic feels thin and could crack. There mesh guard is flimsy and could bend easily. It's comfortable and the rear protection is substantial, but I'll be sending this back. Looking for something that I can throw in the back of a truck bed with my chainsaw and be ready to go when needed. I'll probably spend a little extra and go with the 3M version of this helmet or Husqvarna, Oregon...

Good brush cutting helmet, great value
I have purchased a couple of brush cutting helmets, and I am really happy with this one. The Tooliom helmet is light, but durable and solid. The ear muffs cut noise well, and are comfortable to wear. They retract easily for taking the helmet off, and slide into place easily for use. The face screen is very nice, protecting from most all debris that is thrown from my weed wacker (and there is a LOT), keeping my face and eyes protected. I would recommend this helmet to a friend, or buy more when I need them.

Bad dseign
The headband is too small to allow it to be fitted into the helmet and the clips are so flimsy that even if you did manage to get the headband fitted, it wouldn't stay in place for long. Totally bad design and a waste of money and a waste of time spent to buy it, wait for delivery and then attempt to fit the headband. There are minimal instructions and they are useless.
