Quick Reviews!
Kanoodle was not a game I was aware of until I received this and investigated. The premise is of a puzzle game where you have to complete a given jigsaw/Tetris type puzzle by adding the different shaped pieces into specific spaces. It reminds me a lot of similiar wooden block games and puzzles I had in my youth, the difference being that those games typically only had 1 puzzle and 1 solution. With Kanoodle you get hundreds of combinations. In this Head to Head edition, you're not against the clock or simply winning for your own sense of achievement, but playing against a friend. Sitting literally head to head, both parties compete to complete their puzzle first. It's a lot of fun, it's bright and colour coordinated, and it's very portable meaning you can take it on trips quite easily. It gets the brain ticking and reminds me of a similar round in The Krypton Factor, and the competitive spirit it encourages means my girls are always looking for a rematch.

Fantastic fun
Excellent game and very simple. Choose your pattern and place them in the holder in the middle. Make the pattern as quickly as you can and then press the switch. When you've pressed the switch your opponents pieces flip up and out of the tray.Positives: encourages competition, develops speed and diligence, develops resilienceNegatives: those pieces can travel so either play somewhere they can be found or decide to just shout out insteadGives hours of fun and we all loved it very much.

Fun game!
Fun game! We really enjoyed it - there's nothing else out there quite like it.The game looks quite simple at first, but it's actually a lot of fun once you get into it, especially when you're competing against someone else.It seems robust and well made. Should keep the young ones occupied for many hours.

Both challenging AND fun!!
Great to play something a little bit different. The children I played this with loved the analytical aspect of getting the pattern right, but also the race against time (to beat your opponent) into completion. It was a fun adrenaline rush which reminded me of playing Perfection as a child. It's a nice compact little game, easy to transport (take away to play on holiday) but not suitable as a travel game due to the launching of the pieces. It caused far less bickering than some board games and there was lots of laughter (as well as groans ;-) ) when the pieces went flying. There are 80 different patterns so plenty of combinations to keep the game fresh. The box said this was for 7+ and I played this with 8 year olds who loved it.
