I had my speakers and turntable on the same wooden table for awhile, i didn't consider the vibrations from the speakers possibly effecting audio feedback. These are great for the price, and do the job of suspending my speakers off the same surface insuring a more accurate and detailed sound. One thing i noticed is the bass sounds tighter and more controlled now that the speakers aren't on the table anymore. I looked at other foam pads/stands, it seems most are overpriced for what you are getting. These work just fine for a cheaper price.

I bought these somewhat on a whim, not really expecting much, but remember having some years ago. My monitors are on top of a Counter with a cabinet underneath it really resonates apparently. Totally worth the meager investment. I didn't expect anything really other than to put my monitors at an angle and they completely tightened up the focus of the low end, and the lower meds. Apparently I had been having issues I didn't even know about. But who doesn't? Just buy them. You should already have them. I didn't think to measure the width of my speakers, so I did trim mine down because the footprint was just too large for my space. It's not exactly the easiest stuff to cut, so maybe use one of those extendable box cutters or something as a long blade and slowly slice it off that way, or risk having them look all hacked up like mine. But that's my own fault.

Not sure how this foam is acoustically better than any other type of foam but it has nicely cut angles for different orientations. My bookshelf speakers doesn't deform the foam and holds angle. I guess if you're good at crafting any high density foam could work for a little less money. I am not so this is perfect.

It's just foam, of course, but it works for what I wanted... to elevate the speakers a bit, and decouple them from the chest of drawers they're sitting on. I didn't want anything larger than the footprint of the speakers and these foam pads are just the right size. Will I actually hear any difference... we shall find out, but these pads were not priced above my monthly allowance so I didn't hesitate to purchase. Overall appearance does not detract, easy enough to install with no adhesive necessary or wanted, and the option to change angles is great. Thank you for keeping the price real, everything else I considered was twice as much on average.

Using these to put my front surround speakers on top of my large floor standing speakers, which are exclusively for music - with a different amplifier. I am using the full thickness and using the wider side forward because I am using the surround speakers horizontally. I may try and use the wedge portion and angle the speakers slightly downward. So far, no resonance and no change in sound with either speakers system.

Sound isolation and monitor placement are extremely important when setting up your home studio. Especially if you have limited space which most people do. With smaller monitors, like my Presonus Eris 4.5's, these foam wedges paired with the right monitor stands make a world of difference! Proper distance and angle to line up with your ears is the name of the game. I handmade a pair of nice Walnut stands with a -2 degree slope on top plus the angle from these foam wedged creates the perfect listening experience for my setup. Don't waste your money on foam wedges for x3 times the price. These work just fine. Invest the money you save on these affordable wedged and get good stands to go with them.

Very good foam for the price, it offers some acoustic isolation, but the angle is not 5 and 10 degrees as advertised, but more like 2.5 and 5 degrees.
