This item is heavy, takes a few hours to assemble. It took two people 1 1/2 hours to assemble it but it is good quality and well worth the money for a a good piece of equipment for a home gym. It is smooth to operate, doesn’t stick or jam. I would recommend placing a mat underneath it as seen in the photos. Weights do not come with it, you must buy them separately. The cushion is firm but not uncomfortable.

Excellent home gym addition – smooth, sturdy, and reliable!I’ve had the RitFit Leg Press for about a year now, and I use it weekly as part of my home gym routine. It’s held up incredibly well—super smooth operation, great weight distribution, and absolutely no stability issues. The padding has also stayed in perfect condition, which is impressive considering how often I sweat during workouts. No flaking, cracking, or peeling.Yes, it’s a bit more narrow than the commercial leg presses you’d find at a gym, but that hasn’t affected its performance at all. It’s compact enough for home use while still giving you the same intense leg workout you'd expect from a larger machine.Assembly was straightforward, and everything fit together solidly. For anyone building out a home gym, this is a great investment. I’ve had zero complaints—highly recommended!

Outstanding machine. Very easy to read/understand directions. All parts fit together easily. Sturdy and well built machine.

Good machine… only issue is that the platform is so slick. First time standing on it and ended with a knee injury. It needs grip tape or something.

I’m very happy with Ritfit leg press & squat package. Excellent packaging and relatively simpler instructions plus all the tools needed. The exact count of bolts, nuts and washers and no spares needed. I needed extra assistance on a few operations but one person assembly for most operations for about 17 hours total assembly time. Instructions were given in isometric format so no confusing words. I did misunderstood a few diagrams which led to minimal rework. Again, this was a good quality product that achieved my desired outcome.

I waited a few weeks after receiving the leg press before providing a review. The leg press was shipped promptly and like so many others have reported the boxes were pretty messed up when they arrived however the contents were intact and had no damage. The installation instructions were just ok, but the diagrams were a better representation. I did need to contact customer support as there was an alignment issue with the slider (the sled piece). They PROMPTLY responded to my issue and shipped a new slider which resolved my issue! This did require me to take most of the unit back apart (no big deal using battery-operated tools for the installation) which leads me to a helpful tip. During installation, I only slightly tightened the bolts on most connections, allowing me to align every part accurately! Now to the best part, actually using the leg press. Being able to max out a squat without pain on my back is a massive plus. Not to mention being able to isolate each leg to accurately determine any imbalance (which I found I had). I was also quick to find that my foot placement allowed me to hit all areas of my legs (soreness I hadn't really felt before including isolating my glutes). Like many, I have a home gym mainly so I can work out whenever I want to and don't have to wait for a piece of equipment to become available at the gym. I know a home gym doesn't have the advantage of all the commercial gym equipment however, it does do the most important thing (well for me). My home gym doesn't waste my valuable time! Overall I am completely satisfied with the RitFit Leg Press Hack Squat Machine.

The product seems well manufactured and the kitting and instructions are well laid out. When I unpacked the glide bar there were loose bearings inside. I have contacted the manufacturer and through much difficulty they agreed to send replacement bearings. I have still not received any bearings. The product is completely useless without them. I just contacted the seller through Amazon and waiting a reply.
