Great productivity tool worth the investment
This monitor is awesome! It’s now the centerpiece of my workstation (MacBook Pro, BenQ sw271 monitor, calDigit hub). I initially assumed I was sent an open box item but after investigating realized these are actually shipped with minimal but essential paperwork. Not 4K but perfect resolution for Macs. In fact, 4k monitors don't scale well on Macs for productivity work, so it was either this or the more expensive 5K. The U2724DE is 120Hz, KVM and built in thunderbolt hub. Great value !!

Dimmed Dreams: A Dell Monitor’s Fade Against Apple’s Shine!
I Purchased this Dell monitor for my new Mac Studio, swayed by YouTube reviews claiming it rivaled Apple’s 5K display. At $1600, Apple’s monitor felt excessive, but I ultimately regretted not investing in it. As a professional wedding and portrait photographer, I noticed significant eye fatigue after just 30 minutes of editing. The resolution, as expected, lacks the sharpness of a 5K display, and the brightness fell short for my editing needs. Returned it for a refund, minus a reasonable $15 shipping fee. 3 stars for decent performance, but it didn’t meet professional demands.

3-in-1 solution. Amazing monitor, TB4 docking station and KVM switch.
This is a great monitor for my MacBook Pro M4. The native resolution provides amazingly crisp images. Editing photos is a delight, and best of all, it has a fully functional docking station and, just thrown in like a bonus perk, a KVM switch. So I can connect both my Windows and Mac and use the same mouse/kb.

Great monitor for Laptops, but not so good for certain Desktop and Workstation users
Overall, this monitor has a very nice display! I highly recommend it for using it with laptops! It is very nice for desktops, as well, but only as a secondary monitor. NOT as a primary monitor! The problem that I have with this monitor is that Dell made it stubbornly locked into Energy Star mode and there is no way to change that. Basically, the monitor goes to a deep sleep state very quickly and it is very slow to come back on, even when a specific video input is chosen. This means that if you have a desktop PC and when you boot (or cold start) your PC or restart your PC, then you will NEVER see the results of the Power On Self-Test (POST) results or the option to go into your computer's BIOS settings to make any changes, or change which drive you want to boot from. I do not even see a glimpse of Windows starting up, for crying out loud. Good luck if you have a high-end desktop, like an AMD ThreadRipper 7000 series and the system decides to train the RAM on startup.Dell has not offered any firmware updates, at this time, for this Monitor to allow the power / energy state to be managed as we see fit. I regret buying this monitor, but it is still functional as a secondary desktop monitor. My u2715H is my goto - after all these years.Come on Dell, get your act together!!!

Works well
Looks good, KVM and inputs work well. I have 2 set up on work laptop. Keyboard, mouse and 2 monitors all connect smoothly to my work laptop through 1 USB-C. I will say that I had to connect my separate web cam to one of the monitors through a lower “exterior” USB-C. The main ones would not recognize it. This is a flaw that should be corrected on the next generation.

Great Value for Quality and Options
Multiple ports on monitor are a great add which avoids requiring a separate docking station for additional peripherals. Adjustment options allow for custom positioning. Works great for Mac mini thunderbolt connection. Very satisfied.

Almost perfect
Really great monitor and also a KVM/thunderbolt dock. Few things I have to say about this is that I wish the thunderbolt also carried an additional display so that HDMI out could be used.Second, I think it should be brighter for the price of this monitor. In a bright environment inside, it has hard time with the glares.
