Everything was there
I'm writing this because for these diy doll houses I see frequently returned on most of them followed by missing parts. The kit is amazing however my own fault I didn't know you can buy a dust cover separate or the music box separate but that small fact aside everything was there, instructions like "stick it" is a bit too basic but it's rather easy if you reread instructions. Spent hours on it already and just barely have the front steps done. It'll take time but that's why I got it. Normally do plastic model kits like cars so this kit was the first one into a new opportunity of kits for me and I'm very pleased and will buy more in the future thank you so much I hope people find this post useful to help you decide. Thank you

NOT for beginners!
This was more of a 3 1/2 rating but I gave it the extra half star because the end product was pretty cool.First, don't even attempt this without an X-acto knife. A lot of these pieces are really thin and if you try to just push them out they will break. Also, I recommend using the 3 in 1 glue. It tacks fast but still gives you a little time to arrange the pieces. Also, be prepared to do a lot of paper folding and gluing (or "stick it" as it says in the instructions). The instructions? Crap! I ended up having a lot of extra pieces even after I went back and double-checked the instructions. They are also very hard to read! Thin red lettering on a brown background? You couldn't use white? The wiring was very difficult because after feeding 14 different wires through the same small hole you needed to separate them for positive and negative. Unfortunately the wires are colored white and really light gray which made it harder to distinguish one from the other.I believe I was able to do this one because I've already done a lot of these "DIY dollhouses". So I would not make this your first venture into building these. However, if you done some of them already and you have an enormous amount of patience the final product is worth it.

Very detailed
I had so much fun putting this gem together. The attention to detail and unique pieces turned this into an exquisite showpiece. Not for beginners, but the instructions were relatively straightforward, and the construction process was more challenging (and therefore, more rewarding) than your typical click-together model.

Beta version of book nook kits
This kit is what I think the very first nook kits were. Innovative but crude. Pieces don't fit together by pushing tabs into holes, they are glued together. Instead of stickers, the image is printed on plain paper and half you can punch out and half you have to cut out and then glue onto the surface. Instead of plugging lighting wires into a circuit board, you have to strip the wires, then join and tape them.A lot of comments from reviewers who had built other kits from this same company apply to this kit as well which makes me think it's the company not an individual kit.I'm returning it and getting a more up to date kit.For the price, this should have been much better.

So Much Fun
This was so much fun to put together. The instructions are laid out very nicely. For each step, it shows you exactly what pieces you need for that step. However, I was missing a couple of beads from the kit. I just had some around my house I used.

It’s okay, not great
This is a challenging yet fun build. The instructions aren’t clear and can be hard to follow. Also, at the end when the assembly started, the main floor pieces didn’t line up. This caused the entire rest of the build to be off center and look lopsided. Also, some of the wood pieces were very thin and hard to get out causing them to break. In the end it looks okay but not well put together due to nothing lining up. The images provided were the first floor as it was being built to show how off center it is.
