Your thigh measurement is the most important of the measurements 1 - Measure waist OVER YOUR PANTS (which is adjustable on the chaps) between your waist and hip (remember that the chaps will go over your pants AND the waist size you order will be larger than your normal size) 2 - Chaps are not designed to wear like a pair of pants, therefore a good fit in the thigh helps get you a base fit 3 - Measure the thigh 3"-4" below the crotch, around the leg while sitting (with pants on), for maximum comfort ***The most important measurement of the sizing is your thigh - use that number to get a base for what pair will fit you*** TECHNICALLY CHAPS DO NOT HAVE AN INSEAM SINCE EACH PERSON WEARS THEM DIFFERENTLY.
