Not sure why it wasn’t a direct replacement for my 2007 swb T5 ex RAC transporter. However, I had to remove the wide plastic number plate /handle (to open tailgate ) piece. Then cut out the old holders (with deemed) that were part of the long plastic handle thing. The wiring was simple splice to old supply. The new holders fitted into my newly made holes fine but I araldite the surface around new holders for security.Brightness from lamps is super.No errors registered on my vehicle monitoring system. And the LEDS so far are not flickering.All in all happy days.

I bought these for my VW Transporter. Perfect fit, work and look great. However.... I am now on my third pair. They work for around 6 months, then half the LED's stop working completely and the other half flicker like mad. Although having said that, I do around 2,500 miles a month and have my lights on most of the time. So I guess for the average user they may last a few years. It is also very quick and easy to swap them out for new ones.

brilliant product, exactly what i was looking for! took all of about 5 minutes or less to fit, plug and play happy days.They give off quite a lot of light but this is what i was looking for, very bright white light but not too much that you cant see the plate, plugged straight into my mk6 golf with no problems at all.Would recommend.

The lights literally took 3 mins to install. Very bright at night which makes it look very cool. It also has no error codes.

Got these to replace my old bulbs where the connectors had corroded to bits. Snipped the female connector off and just wired together with a junction box. Fitted really well and no error codes showing. My car is a 61 plate golf variant but these bulbs had the screw fitting I needed. Very very bright, and hopefully I won't have to change the bulbs ever again

Very bright and easy to install. The only downside is that the chip hangs loose inside of car's frame and there isn't really anything that it could be attached to... Every now and then I can hear it bumping against internal walls. Ideally, there would be some sort of way to firmly secure it to or something...And, although easy to install it doesn't contain any installation instructions which may put some unskilled people in doubt...Other than that very nice lighting - RECOMMENDED!

I’ve had these LED numberplate lights since May 2021. They are very bright and really easy to install on my MK6 Volkswagen Golf (2012), they make a huge light projection on the floor beneath at night which some may or may not like. As they are bright everyone behind you will definitely see you coming.Looks super cool!
