Noisy gain but pretty lights (see update - Tonor came to the rescue 5/5*)

It's a very colourful audio interface with lots of LEDs - some informative (e.g. volume) and others decorative. The design is quite chunky, but the knobs are ok quality, especially for the price.I found the pre-amps were noisier than other audio inputs of a similar price. I tested it with quite a hot dynamic mic and it struggled, so not advised for something like an SM75b (you'd need a cloudlifter type device). Probably fine for condenser mics using phantom power. But I returned mine because the gain is too noisy.Update: Tonor contacted me and very kindly sent me their TA20 Mic Preamp. It's really decent! I don't have a cloudlifter to compare it with, but it's easily as good as the model made by SubZero (actually it feels heavier i.e. good) and a decent alternative to a Fethead for a better price. So if you have a passive dynamic microphone (which is almost all of them) this gives a decent level so you don't need to push the preamp in the audio interface very hard. So a great solution and impressive customer care. Also, this doesn't need special drivers so works happily with a Chromebook and Linux. Another bonus.

Great

Great pre amp. This has many uses in recorded media. However I was almost exclusively using it to record music.Everything works as it should. I could hear no audio quality issues.Easy to use.All knobs feels smooth to turn with no crackle.Iv knocked 1 star off as I think there are some better preamps out there in the same price bracket.

Works well no issues

The TONOR TX510 202 USB Audio Interface is a budget friendly option for home streaming/podcasting it produces clear, low-noise sound quality and a simple, plug-and-play design easy to set up ( I followed a YouTube video)It’s compact and sturdy, with two XLR/TRS inputs, phantom power for condenser microphones. It lacks advanced features found in higher end interfaces but you get what you pay for and as a beginner in podcasting I feel it delivers exceptional value for its price, making it ideal for podcasters seeking professional-grade audio without the high end price tag

Great little audio interface

This audio interface has worked out great on some podcasts I’m creating at the moment. It was super easy to setup and I like how compact it is. The buttons all work great and I like the look of it on my desk. The sound we mixed was more than adequate for what we was doing and overall I can recommend this if you are after something like it.

electric shocks and so much static

I set this up and the second power went to it, it wasn't right. when i touched it i got a pretty big electric shock, enough to leave red stripes up my thumb, index and middle fingers. i shut all power down, bought a grounder to combat that, but still got shocks, much smaller ones, but enough to hear the snap and feel the sting. the static hum is constant and has been driving me mad.Returning due to not being fit for purpose and a safety hazard.

A solid, well-made audio interface; good value.

I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent build quality of this TONOR audio interface. I also didn't immediately notice that it even featured the 48 volt phantom power supply needed to drive my condenser and ribbon mics with XLR inputs (as well as quarter inch mono).I've used similar devices in the past (costing quite a bit more) and I found the recording results with this device were easily on a par. I could not detect any appreciable noise and the sound quality was more than adequate for a device in this price range. The RGB display is useful although some may find it distracting.A solid, well-made audio interface at a very reasonable price. Ideal if you are just starting out writing music or podcasting. Happy to recommend.

Good piece of affordable kit

I was really surprised how sturdy this felt when it arrived, it’s really solidly made! For what it’s worth, I don’t know much about this are of tech, however, I found the sound quality and the ease of use really good. I’m just trying to start out a podcast so having the right kit is crucial and this piece has helped so much.Bonus points that it looks really cool

Not enough gain

Unfortunately not enough gain for SM7B. To have enough gain you need to turn the knob to the max which will give hiss noise to the recording.
