Apple MacBook Pro MLH12HN/A Laptop 2016 (Core i5/8GB/256GB/Mac OS/Integrated Graphics/Touch Bar), Space Grey

This is my first Macbook and the experience has been exceptional until now. With people used to Windows devices, it might take time to get used to Apple experience but I am sure it will be a memorable one.

Product is good with great display.Some distinguished benefits other than mentioned in other reviews :- Thin vessel makes it look great and productive- Touchbar is underrated, it comes handy and useful many times- Touch ID is fast and responsive- Performance is great- Light and thin1 issue that I got when bought from Amazon was, it already had 8 battery cycle count showing in power preferences, ideally for new machine it should be 0.Update:As checked with apple, cycle count increases when apple recalls for charging machine while it sits on shelf.After month of use : Touchbar is not that useful but not bad as well. it occasionally do help!Touch ID is awesomeSound is out of the world !

Product supplied not as per specifications. Quoted speed 3.1gh laptop received for 2.9gh. I could not return the product because delivery status was not updated. And the status was updated ie after 12 days of receipt, the window for return was over. Now the product is lying packed up with me. Can't use. Approached customer care but no avail so far. Overall a frustrating experience.

The description says the processor is 3.1 Ghz, but its actually 2.9 ghz. Overall brand new genuine product. Liked it and meets my requirement.

I had a blind faith on Amazon for electronics products, so I ordered my first macbook with a lot of excitement. Unfortunately on very second day, I was not able to power on the device, then needed to visit apple service centre and they said that,there is some issue with the logic board which needs to be replaced. I've returned the product :(

I've had this laptop for an year now. here is my review1. The dispaly is amazing. gets really bright.2. This computer is a workhorse, I work with multiple languages, I am a programmer so i compile lots of heavy code. This laptop can lift it all. I'm also learning design and ive worked on a few design projects, Illustrator,Sketch,Photoshop. this computer can handle multiple apps with lots of layers.3.the keyboard has is nice and clicky but the butterfly mechanisim hates dust. You let one grain of dust creep into the keyboard and you'll lose a key for a few weeks. the '{' key and the '=' keys were disabled on my mac because of dust and that was programmer hell for me. took weeks of hard pressing before i got them working again.the back lighting is amazing. light doesnt leak from the edges of keys so it looks amazing in low light.4. touchbar is a gimmick. touch ID is very convenient but touchbar is a gimmick. touchbar gets 3/105. battery life. excellent standby time. but i have a lot of workload so i drain this thing twice everyday.6. buy a dongle7. the fans are super quiet. even when set to max rpm you cant hear them8. buy only if you need the performance. do not get this for facebook, youtube and netflix. you'll be wasting money.9. I dont use a lot of pen drives or other USB accessories so i dont have issues with the ports.10. macOS is a joy to use except finder. Finder is not as good as windows explorer when it comes to file management
