Destiny Fulfilled

After listening to all of Destiny's Child albums since their debut in 1997, in my opinion this is probably the most soulful album they ever released.Unlike some of their earlier albums, 'Fulfilled' plays like a real group-effort. Kelly is given a chance to sing lead on one of the highlights of the album, the song 'Bad Habit', and some of the other songs like 'Cater 2 U' and 'If' give all three members a showcase verse and they blend on the chorus.But it is clear to anyone that Beyonce is the real superstar in the group, and she sings better on this album than she has on all of the previous D.C albums. Her voice is best on 'Free', a really pretty uplifting song about getting out of a bad relationship, and also on 'Through With Love'.The only downside to this album is the lack of upbeat dance songs that had been the highlight of 'Survivor' and 'The Writing's On The Wall'. There are only two dance songs, the hard-edged 'Lose My Breath' and diva-anthem 'Soldier'.But overall, a really nice, more mature collection of songs by the trio.

Not to be rude buy I notice that a lot of negative reviews about this album are coming from MEN. This is not a heavy metal album or hard rock it's R and B. Do you know what that means, obviously not and you need to look it up. It is also for the GIRLS, (feminism) so there is not going to be too much for you to like on this album as it does spend a lot of time letting us know what women have to go through with men!!!Anyway I as a woman and a real fan of R and B mid tempo or fast really love this album!!!!!! I think you do need to be black to really get this type of music some of you might like to try it and if it's not for you then you always have Madonna!!!!!

Classic cd... Good product, good seller, item came in good time and no complaints, love most of the songs on this cd, especially 'through with love' and Is she the reason'. Will never get bored of this cd and could listen to it over and over.

I bought this to replace the album I'd lost. So that in itself shows I love the album. Loved it just as much second time round as I did the first :-)

A good album.

I absolutely love Destiny's Child! They are probably the best girl group to come out of the US! Would defo recommend this album!

A must for the record collection of any Destiny's Child fan. I don't know why I waited so long to buy it!
