✨ Sleep Tight, Little One! ✨
The Nested Bean Zen Sack is a gently weighted sleep sack designed to help newborns and infants transition from swaddling. Made from 100% cotton with a TOG rating of 0.5, it ensures year-round comfort. The innovative 2-way zipper allows for easy diaper changes, while adjustable shoulder snaps accommodate your baby's growth. Safe for all sleep positions, this sleep sack aids in self-soothing, making it a must-have for restful nights.
Safety warning | WARNINGS: Follow product instructions inside packaging carefully. When using any baby sleep bag, ensure that swaddle is not too tight by slipping your hand between infant and swaddle; it should feel snug but not uncomfortable. Always remove from crib when not in use. Take care and periodically check that infant is not overheated. Do not over bundle. Do not allow fabric to cover infant's mouth or nose. Discontinue use of Zen Sack if filling in the weighted sections escapes or becomes loose inside the swaddle. |

Didn’t work for us
It’s not good for a baby who likes to sleep in different positions, not just on their back or their belly. Baby still sleeps better in a normal sleeping back from Tesco.

Dirty and used product
I just received my product and it was dirty and used. So disappointed as we were starting sleep training these days. I would never spend £79 for a used sleep sack. Be aware. Sent email for a refund or new product.

Life saver for tired parents
My son is four months old, weighing over 16 lbs. We bought the 6-12 months size, fitting him perfectly with much room to grow in. The sac came looking well made, soft, beautiful design and resembles much like a sleeping sac you ordinarily see other than it is prettier and better made. The special thing about this sac is the weight over the chest. It took me three days to get my son used to it as he is a kicker and isn't too found of being in a sleeping sac overall. Once a routine is established, he sleeps extraordinarily well. This is the first time we have seen him sleep thru the night and able to sleep eight hours. Coming from sleep deprived parents waking every three hours, this is amazing. The first night, he woke every three, then every four, then every five and now eight over night. He is significantly less restless and sleeps deeply. I wish I knew this existed sooner. Is going to be an essential item if we ever have any more kids.

Great heat retainer - she does get sweaty in it ...
As our 8 months old baby is currently going through a sleep regression, I have been researching on different ways and technique to help alleviate some of her nightly wakes and what I can do to make her nighttime routine be a bit smoother. With this, I have come upon Nested Bean. I made this purchase with high hope and expectation that it too will work for me. However, it didn’t. After about two weeks of using, I have not seen improvement on her nightly wake cycle. Does this work as intended for our little one? Sadly it is a no for me. However, would I order this again if I have to do it one more time? Yes, I would. Mainly for the comfort, construction, and aesthetic appeal.ComfortabilityThe classic zen model is 100% cotton, high thread count and it is definitely heavier than the average tee shirt weight. Great heat retainer - she does get sweaty in it sometimes despite it is being just cotton weight.ConstructionSuperb. I have the Halo sleep sack and Aden + Anais sleep sack prior to this purchase, and I can say Nested Bean definitely set the bar for innovative construction detail. Having the side zipper as opposed to center front zip is a huge plus and convenience for those night time diaper change and morning change (which I will get to in a bit). The two side zipper opening on both the left and right side is not necessary in my opinion, but it is definitely a gorgeous touch to not having to open up the baby and let in cold air in the middle of the night. My favorite point of detail would probably be the adjustable shoulder snaps. I love this feature mainly for our morning routine, when she wakes up for breakfast and I want to get her into a sweater and out of the Nested Bean sack, I simply would put the sweater over her on top of the sack, then reach inside, unsnap both shoulders, and slide the Nested Bean sack right out from the bottom. Or, if I want to remove her clothes from under the Nested Bean sack I can simply unsnap the sack at the shoulder, pull out her onesie over her head, put on her new outfit and slide the sack right out from the bottom. This is an amazing feature because I can do a whole outfit change without her having to feel the cold air in the room. With Halo and Aden + Anais, I will have to open the front zipper and have a completely naked baby in the process.AestheticSuper soft medium weight cotton, great quality, craftsmanship, and hand feel. A super chic sleep sack, clean frontal design as opposed to the traditional front opening. Machine wash cold and tumble dry low, comes out like new with no warp or shrinkage. Great for Fall to Winter weather.

Mixed feelings
I like the idea of the weighted sleep sack, but the execution isn't great. My little one didn't sleep well for the first year of her life and I bought this in desperation because no other sleep sacks had worked. I think this helped her sleep as long as the weight was above her, but she rolls a ton while sleeping, so sometimes the weight would be on top of her, and sometimes she roll on top of it, which isn't that comfortable. If your baby is predictably a back sleeper this may be good, but for babies that roll or sleep on bellies I don't think the weighted part helps. We did put the weight on her back (so that when she rolled to her belly it would be on top of her) but I still always put her in her crib on her back, as recommended by pretty much everyone, so that made her naps start off on the wrong foot sometimes.

My son can take it off…
I did enjoy how light weight this sleep sack is, I felt like it kept my son a good temperature in the summer. It also is easy to wash. Besides that, I honestly don’t think the “weighted” portion made a difference in my sons sleep. My biggest issue with this product is the snaps at the top, my son is 12 months and can successfully get himself out of the sleep sack by breaking through the snaps.I also do not feel like the sleep bag is long enough, my sons legs easily get stuck even though he is in the “correct” size based on the sizing chart.

Transitioned from Rock n Play with Zen Sleep Sack
I was skeptical that this sleep sack would work, but we saw a huge improvement in sleep starting the very first night! Our 6 month old daughter was sleeping maybe 1 to 2 hours in the crib before waking up crying and I kept resorting to putting her in the rock n play so we could all get some sleep after a few wake cycles. A week ago, on the first night in the Zen sleep sack, she slept the entire night in the crib, only waking to feed once and maybe crying twice because she lost her pacifier. After 3 nights of improved sleep, I ordered another sleep sack! She hasn't used the rock n play since. I never would have guessed that this sleep sack alone would have been the magic cure! The material is great quality, the weighted piece feels similar to a Beanie Baby material / weight, and it is machine wash and tumble dry for cleaning, which is great! The only complaint is that if your baby wears zip up footie pajamas like ours, the midnight diaper changes are a bit more difficult because you can't easily access the zipper on the pj's without taking the weight off the chest. The sleep sack zipper allows for easy access to the bottom so if your baby wears 2 piece pj's or snap pj's it shouldn't be an issue. Either way, the product works, so it doesn't really bother me if the midnight diaper changes are slightly more annoying.Even though it seems like a high price tag, it is totally worth it for longer stretches of sleep! And the quality is great. This is a perfect example of "you get what you pay for" :)
