Great Product

Bought a sled about 6 months ago and got these straps about 2 months ago to vary workouts. They are great quality at have held up to some serious weight.

Longer than expected

Should have paid more attention to the description; this is a lot longer than I was expecting. Straps aren't very comfortable but stitching and webbing seem strongly made and should hold up.

Heavy duty straps that are more comfortable and ergonomic to use

Have been training with a sled at the gym I go to and wanted to be able to do some sled training at home. Got a sled but felt limited with what I could do since it only had a harness. I found these sled pulling straps and was floored at how heavy duty they were and comfortable to use. Very well made with good stitching and very thick neoprene padding. I'm able to do both pulling/pushing movements as well as resistance training. I like that I can also attach the straps to weight bags and sandbags if I don't want to use a sled. Highly recommend for comfort, durability, and flexibility of various movements.

Are YOU Tough Enough for these Straps?

If you are like me, you dreamt of a sled that you could push but the prices were beyond the pale. Sure, it might be durable but that is a steep price hill to climb because it must all be disposable income and all at once. So, you got a sled you can pull and that does the trick unless you want to push to develop explosive power or you want to pull for a brutal posterior chain workout and then, you are out of luck. Out of luck, that is, until you try these straps!! I tend to imagine the worse AFTER I have already made a purchase and, with pulling straps, I imagine the injuries I would receive if one broke while I was pulling with everything I had; I could see my head cracking open like a coconut! Then, I saw these straps when they arrived and discovered that my biggest complaint is that I am never going to be able to pack them back into the bag they came from! I always say that the proof is in the stitch; a bad product will have a dropped stitch somewhere or a not so straight stitch or one that cuts the edge of the fabric, I tend to look for the details and it is truly amazing to see how well these straps are built. There is a double strap that begins where the thick strap that attaches to the sled is box stitched into the nylon strap and that runs for about three feet. There is some heavy duty box stitching to be found there. There is some box stitching on the single strap portion immediately following the heavy duty box stitch and I cannot see what they could be for because they do not hold anything. There is a velcro strap whose use eludes me for the time being, however, that is attached to the main box stitch of one strap. I can see how it would hold the straps close to one another, I cannot see why I would care. Aproximately 2 ft further forward, the dense padding begins and it runs to within an inch or so of the thick, hard plastic handle with zero give which is really nice, in a world of flimsy, a strong handle without any give! Now, you know what happened next, right? I pulled and pushed! and the straps work as advertised and I expect to transform into a Clydesdale or a Percheron any minute now LOL! Seriously, these are very well manufactured straps that will take everything you can dish out for years and, if they ever broke and I don't see how they would, you can take them to any mountaineering shop and have them repaired just as you would a backpack strap, they have the right sewing machine and the expertise to do the repair the right way, the first time. Compared to the difference in price between a pulling only sled and one that you can push, the price is tiny so they are well worth the money if you intend to play with a sled for any length of time. My sled came with a great harness to pull, however, that harness means I have to take a break whenever my quads are tired. With these straps, I can pull with the straps on my shoulders and I can pull from the handles so there is no need for a break. I can certainly push with the handles, however, that is a different story. Just as well that the straps are durable, I can see them being so dirty that they will sleep outside.

Heavy duty sled straps with Grip Handles !!

Loved these sled Pulling straps with Grip Handles from THEFITGUY.These are long (9.8 ft) high quality blacl nylon straps very well padded (neoprene) good stitching (red) and proper ABS handles with honeycomb design for better gripping.Honestly felt these are overbuilt way superior compared to few others offerings lacking quality straps or poor padding or not as long or using loops instead of handles.Unfortunately havent been able to use as much I like to in my garage gym . But these are perfect Heavy duty sled straps esp for outdoors or commercial gyms !!

Adds Variety to my Sled Training

This is the third item I have ordered from TheFitGuy and all have been high quality. This sled pull strap is no exception. It is well constructed with quality materials and has an effective design.I have bad knees and started sled pulling three years ago not only because it is a knee friendly form of cardio but because it also makes my knees feel better. My "sled" is an old tire full of rocks. I used to use a dip belt and ropes to attach myself to the tire/sled. With this set up all my pulling was reverse (walking backwards). This TheFitGuy strap opens up a lot of variation in my sled training. It works well for both backward and forward pulls. I can put the straps around my waist for waist pulls. I can put them around my shoulders for pulling from my torso, or I can use the handles to get my arms involved. There is padding along much of the straps so they are comfortable in a lot of different configurations.
