I have to be honest when we opened the box for this, it did feel a little overwhelming.It's definitely a job for two.I took about 30 mins I think to do all the assembly. The instructions are clear and it's fabulous the way it comes with the drill bit and a screwdriver.Once assembled we spent some time ensuring it was all going to positioned correctly. There is a few suggestions on the instructions but we just based it on the wall space we were using.We opted for the stairway in the house as this area is next to be decorated so it's not a big deal if the cats scratch the walls or cause any damage.We spent about 90 mins I think drilling the holes and putting it up. The cats were on it before we had even finished. They knew it was for them and were really excited.We used the screws, Rawl plugs and drill bit included and had no issues at all.It's really secure, the cats haven't been off it since we finished.It's amazing value for money and we feel like it would be easy to add on to in the future.The scratch posts on it are good. The gap between them and the wall reduces the ease of scratching a little but it doesn't seem to have deterred them.Overall, I am really pleased with this item. More importantly, the cats love it! 😻

Assembly was easy enough. All you need is a drill, the bit, screws, and plugs all included in packaging. Feels sturdy looks good and my cats enjoy it

I have a large orange cat and a small black cat, I had to purchase additional metal wall plugs to keep attached to wall as orange cat is very heavy for the ones provided. It has helped with the boredom if two indoor cats and they are constantly perched on one of the bases throughout the day

The quality of the pieces is great but, it took almost four hours to try and install the vertical pole with the three shelves. (Putting the pieces together and fixing the supplied brackets to them was easy). The problem is that the supplied brackets have a cross bar - for support I assume - but this gets in the way of being able to use a drill to put in the top screws. Trying to turn these with a screwdriver required an incredible effort, and the plugs and screws were struggling to stay flush to the wall.My plan is to go and buy a series of L brackets and use these to double-up on supporting / affixing the pieces firmly to the wall- hopefully pulling it tight and making it safer.Spending four hours on that one piece (hopefully the hardest one) was exhausting. Hopefully building out the mechanism will aid in making the other pieces easier to install... Unless you're a labourer by trade I would avoid this and go for something easier.
