Fifth Element 4K Uhd 20th Anniversary Edition Region Free

The 4k ultra hd blu ray disc version of the film has greatly improved sound and picture quality over the standard blu ray disc version when played through a ultra hd blu ray player and a 4k ultra hd tv with hdr (high dynamic range),This comes with 2 discs.The 4k ultra hd disc features the film and a 10 minute featurette in 4k and is region free.The 2nd disc is a normal blu ray disc and has the feature film plus about 20 featurettes on it.It is region locked to region A1{USA) so will not play on a uk 4k ultra hd player or normal uk blu ray player so you would need a multi region 4k ultra hd blu ray player or a multi region blu ray player to play this disc The way around this is to buy the uk blu ray version of the film also if u want to see the featurettes and have the film in 4k..It`s a nuisance but no way around it!!!!

This is a review for the UHD release, not the movie itself.The picture quality is pretty much the same as an upscaled copy of the BluRay, I compared this to my BR copy and that pretty much confirmed my suspicion.Then comes the problem with the audio: the vocal mix on the 7.1 English audio track (at least on my system) is mixed so low that it is absolutely inaudible, other than the musical score, the first 10 minutes of the film is now effectively a silent movie. If I turn my system up to a volume in which I would be completely deafened by music then the dialogue is audible, but quiet. The problem is that once I turn the volume up loud enough to hear the dialogue, during the action sequences, the score and the f/x are completely deafening and I then have to turn it back down to a point where the dialogue is once again inaudible.
