To move forward, you simply lean slightly forward and to turn left or right you just put a small amount of pressure on your left or right side. To stop moving you simply stand up straight.

Faulty product and wouldn’t buy one again.
Was brought for my son he used it for 3 occasions the 3rd time the Segway wheels stopped working and sparks came off it with smoke, we left it for 24 hours then when we tried to turn it on it was making a beeping noise and wouldn’t move..It’s been a long process to get the item picked up and returned and I’m still waiting for the refund to go into my account.
