I couldn't be happier with this drafting chair! It arrived even faster than expected—shipping was quicker than advertised, which was a nice surprise.Assembly was a breeze. All the parts were clearly labeled, and the instructions were simple to follow. I had it set up and ready to use in under 10 minutes.The chair itself is exactly as described. Seems well made and will hold up this big fella. Can't sit on it too long though. The round foot rest, I think that is what it is there for does not come out far enough to prop my feet on when sitting up high to my work table. This cuts off the circulation to the bottom of my thighs. I sit sideways in it with the seat back under one of my arms for more comfort. Despite that I like it.

I am a big, tall, fat guy, 6'0 and maybe 260 lbs. I spend several hours a day at my desk, and I need a chair that can swivel to let me access drawers and files behind me, to my right and to my left, and a printer that sits on a cabinet to my left. In the last many years I have had at least five or six chairs. The sturdy wooden 'teacher's chairs' that I started with were too high to reach over, and after a few months of twisting my weight in the chair, the supporting struts would fall out, and the bolted joints would weaken and the chairs fell apart. ........I then bought (for maybe $500) a 'bariatric desk chair' that was rated for 400 lbs. But it was so huge and cumbersome that it didn't fully swivel in my work area and its size and weight were a handicap. I next bought an attractive and pricy smaller swivel desk chair, but it still had a high back that got in my way, and it was still too bulky to turn 360* in my work area..... When I purchased this BENCH PRO DELUXE POLYURETHANE CHAIR that I now happily sit in, I was thinking of it as just a temporary solution until I found the right conventional desk chair. But I now plan to keep this chair forever, and I congratulate myself every day that I bought it for 1/2 or even 1/3 the price of other chairs I was looking at. Here is why: #1 It is stronger, sturdier and better constructed than any of the other chairs I tried. #2. Even though the seat is solid polyurethane, and not covered or padded, it is actually more comfortable than any of the padded chairs I previously own. #3 the back support 'cushion' is lower than the backs of the other chairs. It provides perfect lower back support abd allows me to reach over it to get into drawers or files behind me. #4 The footprint of the entire chair is smaller than that of any of the previous chairs, so I can swivel around in a complete circle to accomplish tasks in front of, beside, or behind me. I know this was meant to be a shop chair. But the hight adjusts to the exact level I meed to work at my desk, and it suits my needs perfectly. In several months of use, nothing on the chair has come close to bending or breaking or scratching or malfunctioning in any way. This is a keeper.

First came much faster than expected thats great ! its very good quality i had a similar chair at my last job this one is as good or better quality. I am using this for a diferent reason than most have some back problems that are made worse by sitting in chairs that are not the right height and have me sitting with poor posture leaning back for example. Then there is standing from a seated postion with this chair i can drop my feet down to floor that makes a huge differance for me! this is built like Tank its going to last ! Its Perfect

Good product with great customer service!

These chairs are not good. The bottom foot holders don't stay in one place, and always slide down to the bottom, useless to use as a foot rest. Some of the hardware for the backrest do no work well and the backs are just flopping around. I bought 5 of these things a couple months ago for work and they all need to be replaced with something a bit more sturdy. I tried to see if I can return them but I have to pack them up and send them back. It's just not worth that time or effort to do that.

I understand why they have the foot rest. The chair is too high and your feet can't rest on the floor at the lowest setting. Had to send it back because of this and the seat was too hard for my father.Update: Refund subtotal $133.30Shipping: -$22.07Total refund $111.23You would think since I've already paid the shipping to get the item they would at least cover the return shipping.
