I burn a spell candle every morning for different intentions. I use the green and orange all the time and they burn cleanly but the black is messy, it runs, it doesn't dissipate like the other colors however I find them very effective at making my intentions become realized quickly. Just be prepared with a dish under your candle holder for the spillage and allow time for cleanup.

Right out of the box I had to double check that these were not scented. They definitely smell like they are. I'm not sure if they were stored somewhere with some really potent incense type products, or if the candle molds were reused from frangranced wax or what, but they have a scent. It's a great smell, but something to be aware of if you don't want to have one. When burning, they have an inconsistently candley smell to them. Like cheap wax. But not all of them do. Some are more noticeable than others. All of them burn down ridiculously fast. If they were left unattended, I would guess somewhere in the 15-30 minute time range. I attempted a salt soak to make them dripless (it usually works and slow melt time) but it was entirely ineffective. The wick grows to an inch in minutes, so you constantly have to extinguish flame and trim it. And you can see in the photo some of the various debris and what appears to be coloring additive not consistently blended. They were a very fair price though. And I happen to like the added scent. I would buy them again, for spells or prayers, but they won't last for decoration or emergency blackout supplies.
