Excellent radio with a great sound considering its small size. Easy to set up and get going and with the price reduction very good value for money. My only minor gripe, and it is a minor one, is that the radio came with a type B USB connector when it actually takes a type C USB connector, I quickly realised this so if you do buy this radio check the type of USB connector it comes with so as to avoid damaging the power socket on the side of the radio.

My first venture in DAB was an Otone BluMotion from a local electronics shop. It was the sound quality that convinced me to buy the device and I've never been disappointed by the sound. The rest of device falls foul of style over substance. Beautiful to look at and listen to but navigating stations or settings with what turned out to be silly touch buttons on top left the device on Radio Two until the aerial came off.A few other DABs have entered the affray. An amazing sounding JVC Valve Hi-Fi that unfortunately died within the year. It's replacement - a Pure radio whose sound doesn't live up to the hype and the smallest Goodman's DAB radio ever that is surprisingly good for sound and reception but more use for camping or walking.The Majority DAB radio is about twice the size of the Goodman's but a fraction of the size of the Otone and Pure. It was never meant to match the sound power of either of these but meant to be useful for the kitchen or balcony and is loud enough for either. But more importantly, the sound quality is superb. Radio Two, Classical, country, 80's and Heart Christmas are all clear and enjoyable on DAB as is our local Exmouth Air on FM.The device itself if simple to use. Has actual buttons that feel like they are being pressed and navigating the station lists is quick and easy making you want to explore the wide range of stations on offer. Yes, this is mostly aimed at DAB, but the big stations are all there and you can add your favourite FM (probably local) stations as presents. Most the buttons are either logical to use without seeing (like the volume) or are on the front making it easier to use from a shelf. Personally, I find the device sounds better if use at or slightly over head height.The colour on the screen is nice touch and the information keeps you in the know if you want to see what / who is playing / talking. The aerial is much higher quality than the Otone and seems unlikely to snap off and makes moving it from room to room less concerning.My only niggle is the on / off slider switch - it's slightly frustrating to move. I think this should have been the lock switch with a simpler push button for on /off.When I went to register, I saw several of Majority's other products including their RS1 microphone. Because of the quality of the radio, I brought the RS1 as present and that is just as good.I think I stumbled across Majority and the DAB Radio in a YouTube review and am really glad I did.

Really neat pocket sized Dab+ FM & Bluetooth radio/speaker. I was looking for a small travel radio with alarm function primarily and a reasonable sound. Sound wise this is excellent, surprisingly rich especially on the talk stations. Even on music stations the sound is better than expected, and far exceeds similar smaller radios I have. The Bluetooth works very well and easy to navigate. Double alarms, sleep function are handy extra’s. Battery lasts around 12 hours on playback or if radio is left on standby only just displaying time and date it will last four days. As the title suggests almost perfect, but it is not truly portable, yes you can take it and play it anywhere but not, for instance when walking as unfortunately the earphones do not act as an ariel. I didn’t realise this upon purchase, hence the four star review. All in all though I’m pleased with the purchase and recommend it. Just don’t go out with it walking with earbuds as it doesn’t pick up stations as mentioned.

Excellent value little pocket radio. I take it everywhere when I am gardening and on other outdoor jobs. Brilliant volume and can access all my favourite radio stations. It’s rechargeable which is a bonus and fits easily into your pockets. It’s has blue other connectivity,I would thoroughly recommend this brilliant little radio.

What an amazing bit of kit. This radio goes everywhere with me and is a godsend when working on the allotment. The sound quality is, quite frankly, astonishingly good and considering the wee size of this device it is even more amazing.The battery will last a full working day with ease and even has two alarms that you can set, 20 channel memory and DAB and DAB+It is almost perfect for such a small radio, but there is one small thing. Leaving it on charge all day really isn't a problem as all devices stop charging when full but I would not mind some kind of charge indicator so I know it is plugged in properly. Having said that it really isn't enough to take away from 5 stars.I bought a 2.5 inch HDD case for it, and it fits perfectly with the charge cable, so it won't get battered on the way down to the allotment.You will be amazed at the quality of the sound from this little thing.

Wow I love this little radio it's a powerful sound from a small item. I use it on my garden office in an area which has poor radio reception. The areal does the trick and I have extremely clear radio reception. I am also impressed by the blue tooth connection...very easy to connect my phone and play audible books. It has a clear and easy to use display. The buttons and controls are easy to use. It's tiny ....so it doesn't take up much space. It's almost as small as a transistor radio I had as a teen 😂.it was worth every penny I paid.

Great little radio & remarkable sound for the size. It’s very well made. I think the sound is better in FM than digital but that’s a personal opinion. It certainly is small so don’t be alarmed- I was ! However I like it & it’s portable enough to put it in your pocket. Great price as well.I’ve added some photos so that you can see the size against different objects.
