I bought this to replace a le Sportsac bag of similar size and weight. It would be $150 to buy the same. I purchased this bag figuring it would probably survive the flights and a week at Yellowstone and Grand Teton. The quality is good. When I returned home I ran it through the wash and brought it to a full day of Legoland. Washed again. It survived a four day river vacation with lots of stuff jammed in it. It still looks great. I will probably buy these again as I need another lightweight backpack or for my grandkids. My only complaint is that the side pockets are too shallow for any water bottle. But they are great for sunglasses.

I am giving this a 4 star because although the pack seems well made, the color is vibrant and everything seems as described. The pack was only folded in half and didn’t come zipped in its pocket. I felt like someone probably bought it, and couldn’t figure out how to fold it back up so they returned it. I couldn’t find any instructions on folding it back into its pocket so I had to YouTube it. Otherwise it seems like it’s worth it but it would be nice to have instructions

This backpack is the perfect solution to a major problem I have with an existing backpack of the same size and material. My existing backpack has (I would estimate) six zippered pockets. That may sound like a nice idea but when you are looking for something It is extremely frustrating because you can probably feel the item in the back pack but finding which pocket it is in is crazy difficult. This backpack has one zippered small pocket in front, plus the large main pocket, and a small zippered pocket inside and at the top of the main pocket. It's a very light weight but seemingly very durable fabric. Great for traveling. One concern that I had when ordering is that it is described as having a "20 L" capacity. Did that mean that it would hold 20 one litre bottles??? That would be way too big, but no, it's not nearly that big. Hard to describe how big it is, but it's just right for a day's adventure in the city.

This is exactly what I wanted. To get through the airport, I use a very large backpack however, once I get to my conferences, that backpack is too big to carry around. This one folds very flat, but it’s still big enough to hold a notepad, iPad and a bunch of other stuff that’s needed to go back-and-forth to sessions at a conference.

The backpack is lightweight as described, I found it to be flimsy and not durable. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you need something waterproof at the beach. Otherwise a more durable canvass lined unit is what I would suggest.

I took this lightweight back pack to Europe for 6 weeks and it held up just fine. I like that I can fold it so small it fits in my coat pocket. Carried a great deal of weight without faltering.
