This has zero digestive side effects for me. It also calms my muscles, which get tight from multiple autoimmune diseases and inflammation. I think it helps with fibro too as I'm taking my prescription pain meds less. I bought it because I have low magnesium levels but seeing how well it works for multiple issues I think it's well worth the money.

I discovered the incredible benefits of Magnesium about 7 years ago. I was making magnesium bicarbonate water from a recipe using milk of magnesia and club soda. It definitely helped but over time I got away from the hassle of making it all the time. I also bought the digital version of The Magnesium Miracle by Carolyn Dean on Amazon as I was impressed with the results of magnesium therapy that I wanted to learn more. So I’m reading it now as it’s easier at 65 to read it on an iPad than an iPhone. I am not a supplement sniffer, and these do not blast out a noxious odor when the bottle is opened. If there’s an odor, I haven’t found it. A sip of water before taking one makes them very easy to swallow. As for absorbency—holy toot!—is their high absorbency the reason why I’m sleeping so well for so long? I was a toddler the last time I slept this well and woke up feeling so relaxed. I have a lifelong history of anxiety disorders. Or have I? Perhaps it’s been a deficiency in magnesium, as the results of this supplement might indicate. My hands no longer tremble and shake, and I now enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. I can’t believe the benefits I’ve gotten from this particular supplement, and I’ve tried many.Another benefit I’ve noticed is a dramatic reduction in paralyzing gut spasms. Boy, let me tell you, those have been debilitating and often embarrassing (Don’t mind me doubled over and panting, just a bit of bellyache). I am taking both pre- and probiotics, but those alone, plus daily yogurt, have kept the bathroom moderately occupied but have done little to nothing for the spasms.
