Zwilling 7-piece Self-sharpening Knife Block Set, Wooden Block, Knife and Scissors made of Special Stainless Steel/Plastic Handle, Four Stars, Ash

Having had a number of knives with wooden handles and rivets that failed, leading to the handle coming apart I was looking for something with less parts to go wrong. with these knives the tines are set into the plastic handles and I can't see how they can come loose. The plastic is very comfortable and a very comfortable shape to hold. The steel is German rather than chinese and therefore a higher quality. I have had them nearly a year and they are still sharp and almost as new. Rinse under the tap when used, dry and put back in the block and they will stay in excellent condition, it really is as quick as putting them in the dishwasher (which will degrade them rapidly).

This is a fantastically looking set. I bought it during a deal and it was well worth the money. The knives arrived super sharp with a posh looking knives block. The knives are produced in Germany while a knife block is a Chinese production. The block ensures knives get sharpened each time they are taken in and out.

Excellent knife set. Got them at half price. Just what I wanted.

Not fully tested as these are a Christmas present but they seem very sharp, It did look like the box had been previously opened as it was torn around the tab and a lot of the box coating was damaged but the knives and block inside appeared undamaged. Time will tell if they are as good as the top reviews say. Not sure if all the knife compartments have a sharpening device . I can see on the 3 larger knife slots there appears to be a sharpener but not on the other slots. Quite pricey for the set but if they last then worth the cost.

These are extremely sharp and feel well-built. Sharpness has not declined at all after use, and the knife dock sharpens the blades every time you insert or remove the straight-blade knives. I am really happy with these knives and will not be letting go any time soon.

Great knives from zwilling henkles razor sharp and very comfortable too. Forged german steel with a full tang. Got them at a great price too. Only bad thing I can say is pairing knife does not sit down in the knife block when inserted. Says dishwasher safe but I will definitely not be putting them in the dishwasher. A wash with a sponge and soapy water is all that's required and dried with a cloth and back into the block.

Good choice all good

Really light, silly sharp, will last for years due to them being the 4 star range. What a steal
