Countries of the World: Our World in Pictures (DK Our World in Pictures) Hardcover – November 24, 2020

This book is absolutely gorgeous!! I got it on Prime Day for $6.50 and was amazed by the value. The pictures are vivid and gorgeous and the book is full of interesting facts. My 9 year old snatched it right out of my hands and sat on the couch reading it and spouting off facts and showing me the pages of different flags. I know this will be something he looks at every night after I tuck him in and I love that.

Bought it for a rising third grader but I’ve been learning so much. Well organized.I wish type was larger and info for each country was consistent. But the book is well worth the investment … edpecially when you buy it used

Colorful and educational!

This book is PHENOMENAL! Informative, great visuals, and inspiration for our grandson to write his own book! His fun characters have adventures in many countries- complete with his own drawings and information from this beautiful book!

This book is beautiful beautifully made, and a hit in my language classroom students are excited to see little snippets of their countries and to share with their peers. There is a little disgruntledness when some students countries have a quarter of the page where other students countries have a full page, but nonetheless, it is still a great book.

It’s a great-looking book, with a good synopsis and interesting pictures of each country on every page. We bought it for homeschooling. Unfortunately, it arrived with a damaged front cover. It isn’t worth the trouble to send back for a replacement, but it is disappointing to pay full price for an item that comes damaged.

Very educational, great for all ages and interests levels, what kind I say, it is a a DK book! You will find yourself learning about countries you did not know even existed and jumping into the internet to find out more! Easy to read without being too academic or compromising depth.

Great (very informative) book! My grandson is 7, and totally into geography. He has learned so much since he got the book for his birthday.
