Finally bought a kitchen aid at 40!
Late birthday present to myself! I really want to cook and bake more so this was a big deal for me. I debated whether I wanted the artisan or the classic and I chose the classic because I read a Reddit post that basically said the both were the same. Not much difference in functionality. The parts are interchangeable. The biggest difference I see is the classic does not have a handle on the bowl and it only come with one bowl. The artisan comes with two. But I can always buy extra bowls if I want. I can’t wait to buy all the attachments!

Great size and value during holiday
Bought this during the holiday as a gift to my sister and she love it! It's a smaller size mixer so it doesn't take up as much counter space as a full size also easy to clean.

Kitchen "Classic" still gets my vote.
Just as the name implies Classic, old school quality and heft. My daughter will one day be able to pass it on.

Small and neat. Doesn't take up much space but it gets the job done!

I use it even more than I thought I would!!
I LOVE this mixer. My only con is that sometimes the wire mixing attachment it comes with doesn't get the edges/bottom of the bowl and I have to stop it and scrape it for thick batters during use. Maybe that's normal.I used to have a tiny kitchen in a super small home and never thought I would cook or bake, but now with a large kitchen, I am a cooking/baking machine, and so is this mixer. Cleaning is a dream, attachments come off easily and go in the dishwasher.The mixer is very strong on high settings, especially if you're kneading dough that is uneven, so sometimes you have to steady the mixer so it doesn't jump around. I was worried that I would have to keep the instruction manual, but I haven't needed to use it since the first use (internet is all you need), so very easy to understand.My kitchen is large, with plenty of counter space, but if I'd known that this mixer was so compact, I probably would have purchased one for my old place.

Great deal with a catch;
I ordered this mixer for my son & fiance for a partial wedding gift since everyone in our family has a KitchenAid mixer. The mixing attachments seemed a little lighter, but still good. The disappointment was that the mixing bowl did not have a handle on it. Now, I will have to follow up and buy another bowl- with a handle! When KitchenAid products are a little less expensive, there is a reason. I still love KitchenAid! 🤷🏼♀️
