Excellent product
Would purchase again. Great little stove especially if you need a stove that you can run on a limited wattage solar generator battery pack. I bought to run on my battery pack while camping. Love it. Oh, don't worry about "will it get hot enough", it will go to 500 deg F, if that's where you set it!

Doesn’t Boil Water!
I tried to boil 4 cups water and after 40 minutes it never got above 160 degrees. I tried again with just 2 cups water and after 30 minutes it was still at 160 degrees. I was using a pan almost the exact diameter of the burner and it was set on the highest setting the whole time. I wasn’t expecting much, but the product specifically says it can boil water.

Well made with exceptions
As with any appliance, quality control is essential. I’m well versed in what makes an appliance safe so most often, including this one, I take it apart and do my due diligence. The wires inside were touching the heat shield under the burner and on the vented bottom plate. Also the bottom plate didn’t have really any opening with the stamped in vent openings. The heating element was rubbing on the internal heat shield so I adjusted these issues. QA is not where it should be in any appliance no matter the price point and I know this is quite affordable but I’ve seen MUCH worse on expensive appliances too. Just disappointing when safety should be paramount. After my fixes which really only took maybe five minutes, I’m confident it will work for years to come

Works great
In the begin took me a while to see how long takes to really gets hot so far around 1 min and then just cook whatever you desire. Very happy with my purchase just did my fried cheese today for my breakfast.

Works well, reasonable price
Got this as an exchange for one that was mis-marked wattage in the ad. Works fine, has a bump glitch in the knob turning on, but doesn't seem to matter. Surface stays warm for unusually long time after use. Heavier, solid base not susceptible to imbalanced tipping.
