The general rule of thumb with electrolyte supplements is that if you're sweating for 60+ minutes or more, it can help. Beyond that, they all generally boil down to the same ingredients (there are only so many electrolytes you need, so fundamentally all the different ones out there are generally the same product with different flavor variations or brands to choose which you want to be loyal to). So what set Kinderlyte apart for me is, per their website and product description, it's more electrolytes and less sugar. Dextrose instead of sugar (sucrose + fructose), and while I can't get into its impact on blood sugar levels, it both tastes more satisfying and less of a general "sugary -Ade drink vibe and I've noticed in my personal experience that I've found it seems to work effectively both pre, during, and post sweat session whether that's extended time in the sauna, working out, a combo of those, exercising or gardening on a hot day, etc. It also doesn't have any of those repulsive artificial colors that I can tell. I also like that this has a pleasant lemon-lime flavor which I've not found elsewhere. It dissolves super easily. The base electrolytes/salty flavor is very mild, just the right balance between Tastes Like Plain Water on the one end of the spectrum and Tastes Like Generic Sugary Insert Flavor sports drink on the other. Super easy to use, throw in a bag and go, and I've noticed it doesn't seem to clump like other packaged drink mix tubes I've tried. It's not the highst cost that's out there, but I haven't done a full cost comparison but for the quality, it's either right in the middle or exceeds in quality what you're being charged for, so good either way!

I thought it tasted horribly salty at first, so I was initially adding more water than what was suggested on the package. I no longer need to dilute it so much after getting used to it, it tastes fine to me now. I appreciate that it is less sugary than regular sports drinks, that's why I stuck with it.

If you have extreme hydration issues especially pots ,mast cell or eds def recommend it's my number one go to how ever I put a 4 because it's not affordable to disabled ppl I used to be able to get it with my otc or food stamps now I can't and it's no longer with united health care or walmart which makes me sad and have to save alot to afford it for my medical issues because other hydration aren't as good as this .this should be #1

Drinking water is great, but not all waters have what’s needed for adequate hydration. I have been continuously buying Kinderlite for a few years now and it has helped tremendously! I can tell the difference when I go without it. I like that it has safe ingredients. I think the price point is okay considering the higher price point for other hydration products. The lemon lime is plain enough (yet appropriately flavored) for me that I don’t get sick of it. I used to buy the berry(?)/mixed berry one, it’s good but the flavor can be too much for me over an extended period of time using it. I use two packets a day so I buy in bulk.

Used to be good, but the taste has changed. It's too salty now. I looked at the sodium content and it says 800mg now!It was never salty before let alone this bad! I'm switching to one whose sodium content is 55mg and packet. I need electrolytes not high blood pressure!
