Solved the problem of the key falling out!

Perfect fit for the old terrible Mazda key design. I had worn out buttons and a key that fell out of the fob without tape. Even helps a little by adding pressure to the side of the key so now the battery mostly (still not always) makes contact which was previously an issue. Great product, thanks.Also is a rubber matt finish so it won't slide out of your pocket easily.

These covers fit nicely and keeps your valet key in the fob without tape or rubber bands. If the valet key is needed, you will have to remove the entire case as the open slot is located at the top (near lock/unlock buttons). The video in previous review is either modified or an older version. Jelly case is soft enough if you wanted to slot an opening for the key. Material is soft and doesn't cling/stick to pants pocket. The red color case paint was applied very thin and shows black case color fading through on the panic button. See pictures for details. Overall for the price, they are a good purchase.

Perfect fit for my wife's advanced keyless entry remote for her 2008 MX-5. We'd been fighting with the key falling out for years and thought we'd lost it on several occasions thanks to it randomly falling out. This case slipped on easily and keeps the key secure with no noticeable difference in pressure for the buttons. I'm sure it could come off easily too if you did need to use the key.

This case protects the thin credit card type of key for the Mazda MX5. It does not obstruct the use of the buttons, and it keeps the physical key secure, so it cannot fall out of the card and get lost. If you need to use the metal key, however, it's a bit of work to push the case aside and access the key. But you will know that it's safe. The reason I bought the case was because my physical key no longer stays locked in, and was falling out. I tried using a rubber band to hold it in place, but it kept breaking or falling off, and looked tacky. This case really made a big difference. I actually received two cases for the price, and one is more subdued looking than the other one.

Anyone with the 2006 Mazda NC1 key fob knows how expensive and impossible it is to get a replacement security key. This keeps the key securly in place and made my key fob look like new. Love it! I got a security wristlet for a camera to go through my key fob and it works perfectly with thos cover.

Wish I had found these before wearing all the paint off my main key, but it still works and with this skin looks nearly good as new. Should provide good protection from now on. It is (intentionally) hard to remove the emergency key so if your wireless is flaky requiring frequent use, you don't like these, but otherwise they are great and a good value. 2006 Miata MX-5 NC.
