Cuisinart WAF-F40 Double Flip Belgian Waffle Maker, 1400 watts, New Black/Stainless

I have used 4 Belgian waffle makers. The first was a cheap angled one that made surprisingly good waffles. The next 2 just couldn’t make proper waffles - they ended up dense and not tasty.Finally, I went with this one, justifiably considered one of the best.The cheap one allowed steam to escape during the cooking, which worked even though it probably didn’t get hot enough. The two that failed couldn’t get hot enough and didn’t allow steam to escape.This model has heat to spare, so it cooks quickly enough that any excess water is removed early on.

Easy to use, heats quickly and heat selector is accurate. Measuring cup provided makes the perfect waffle without overspill. Only thing that is a little tricky is that both sides seem to cook slightly unevenly depending if the waffle is on the top or on the bottom for most of the cooking time. But this is a small difference, not critical at all! Still think this is an amazing waffle maker.

Just tried out my new WAF-F40 waffle maker. Fantastic!!I had an old WAF-30 single waffle make and was very happy with is until one day it just stopped working after about 10-15 years of yeoman service. I was ready to buy another. The i saw the WAF-40.This new WAF-40 waffle make has a new front browning control with red led readout and is sensitive to various browning levels. Both waffle sides have a green LED and beeps when it is ready. And it is fast. lightly oil and pour in batter on one side, then close, flip over and repeat on the other side including flipping. When the first is ready ((lights up and beeps) and right side up) remove fresh waffle and repeat process again. Made 6 waffles n less than 15 minutes of cooking time.I make waffles with blueberries in the mix so there is slight residue after cooking.. Let cool (unplug) before cleaning. Use soft scrub (blue) on non-stick cooking surface and sponge only on outside surfaces. Storage is slightly (about an Inch) longer than the WAF-40.Extremely happy. Cuisinart is the standard for this kind of appliance. Worth the extra money in investment.

Did a great job making waffles. The cooking complete indicator works well and heat adjust helps with different types of batter. Read the instructions to understand fully how to use this product and you will have no issue with your waffles.

Works good, cleans up easy. Just takes up a bit of space when not in use.

Amazing waffle maker!!! I ordered this one based off of reviews and was NOT disappointed. It makes the best waffles I’ve ever had. I got it to use for a graduation party and so many people commented on the flavor, texture and overall quality of the waffles. The double sided worked perfectly for keeping hot waffles made to order.

I never thought I would ever need a waffle iron but I was wrong. I have never enjoyed a product as the Cuisinart double waffle iron it’s a hit with the family. I would suggest everyone own one. It’s a great product.
