Great cover and the pencil DOES charge!
This is a great looking cover for keeping your Apple Pencil in mint condition and gives good grip when writing or drawing. The white one looks really good with my white folio case, along with the pink pop of colour on the eraser. Double tap works fine and my pencil absolutely does charge with this cover on! I can only assume the people who say it doesn’t haven’t lined up the thinner magnetic side. Love it!

This is an objectively bad product.
I really think elago should do the right thing and remove this product from the market. It is entirely without use.It does actually succeed at part of what I believe its intended purpose is. It does look cool. It does make the Apple Pencil more comfortable to hold and use (although those with smaller hands MAY find it too bulky).However. It is very difficult to put on or remove. VERY difficult. I could live with this if it was a matter of installing it and not taking it off again until it wears out or get damaged. However, once installed, it barely attaches magnetically to the charging point. Again, I could possibly live with this as I don't tend to store my pencil on told of the iPad as it too easily gets unintentionally knocked off and therefore I only put it there to charge. However, it doesn't charge with the case on. So, the only way to use this is to charge your pencil, fight the damn thing on, use until the battery depletes, then fight the damn thing off again to charge. I'm not kidding when I say it's really, really hard to get on and off. It's a complete failure as a product. Avoid.

Cute grip
Love this as makes the I pencil look like a pencil. Helps add a grip. Only issue was it meant the pencil wouldn’t charge. Maybe I was doing something wrong? Not a big enough issue for me though.

Bit big but DOES charge … once on correctly …
Bought the yellow case in January 2022z. I have a gen 2 pencil attached to my 2018 11” iPad Pro … The first thing is slide your pencil with the flat edge NOT facing the cut out. It charges perfectly - if you run your finger along the top end of the case (the end near the eraser) you will feel some writing and you can just make out the word ‘magnetic’ … charges perfectly 👍🏾

Not great
The cover looks cool, but it’s a super tight fit and makes the pencil pretty cumbersome, the silicone is pretty sharp around the edges so it’s not that comfortable. Most annoying though, it doesn’t charge on the iPad very reliably, you can get to charge, but you have to get it in JUST the right spot, otherwise it disconnects, pretty pointless considering it’s a pain to take the case off. I’ve just removed it now and it lives in a drawer.

Great upgrade to your Apple pencil!
I liked this because it looks quirky plus it is easy to hold. Also – because it is so colourful, it's easy to find!

Unnecessary Accessory
At £13.99 at time of purchase, this is one accessory that is overpriced and unnecessary.Item looks nice on your Apple Pencil Pro, but does not give much in the way of extra comfort when writing and gives minimal grip enhancement. I found I preferred the Apple Pencil Pro without the cover on it.If you have an ESR Magnetic iPad case on your iPad, you will need to be extra careful when attaching the pencil when it is in the elago pencil sleeve as it does not attach as securely and can drop off the side of your tablet very easily.Additionally, I was sent an item that was obviously opened and returned. Poor show for an item that was advertised as new at time of purchase.

Tore immediately trying to get it on
Absolutely not worth it. Tore trying to get it on, it just doesn't go on easily without you trying to pull it aggressively. There's so much friction with the rubber against the pencil and I had to use the gap to try to get it to go more than a third of the way up, causing it to tear. It looks good despite the tear but this was a bad impulse buy on something that just isn't ultimately needed and doesn't function well. It also doesn't charge so just don't waste your money basically.
