Worked well

If you have a need regularly by these
Worked excellent. Then again I am a pro. Apply it to a 3-ft + piece of plastic on the floor. Then cut the opening while it's on the floor.

Indispensable for dusty home improvement projects
I've been using these as containment tools for projects that generate lots of dust, like sanding walls and cutting moulding. They are great for allowing easy access to other rooms while holding back all the dust and debris. You don't even need to use both zippers per doorway, just one is good if you're ok with a flap-style door. The adhesive is strong - I've used 10 of these zippers and not one of them have failed in staying where I put them. One piece of advice for newbies is to adhere the zipper to the side of the plastic doorway that is NOT exposed to dust, meaning outside the room of debris. This is because if you adhere the zipper inside the room with the dust, you may encounter sticker failure at some point from dust settling into the adhesion.

Working good
The media could not be loaded. Just had a heck of a time with the razor that comes with it but definitely like better than mernards tarp zipper. Still let's light thru but I put another curtin outside of the room door👍

Must-have for home renovations!
If you are going to do a home renovation project with dust control barrier(s), and you think you may want to pass through that barrier, then you should just buy this product! The contractor for my home project didn't come equipped with any type of pass-through solution (just plastic and blue painters tape). So I ended up buying these zippers myself. I'm really glad I did, and so were my wife and kids! Much more convenient than having to walk around the work area.I decided to get the red "heavy duty" version zippers since there were a couple reviews complaining about the adhesive failing on the standard (black) version. Absolutely no issue with the red zippers staying attached throughout a 12-week project, with the zipper being used multiple times a day. I used the two zippers for 2 different locations (1 zipper each location); rather than on 1 roll-up door. So I didn't make use of the hooks, and can't comment on those. The kit includes a special cutter to cut the plastic barrier after you've adhered the zipper. The cutter seems like a cheap piece of plastic, but actually works really well. It has 2 blades, about a half inch apart. It cuts parallel slits at the zipper opening, then you tear off the middle (half inch) strip of plastic barrier. This really helps keep the plastic from getting caught in the zipper. For one opening, my contractor didn't listen to me, and just cut the barrier with a utility knife (one slit). The plastic instantly got jammed in the zipper on the first use. I was able to trim back the plastic using scissors, so the edge of the plastic was away from the zipper. But believe me, just use the included cutter to begin with. It really works! All home remodeling contractors should make this product part of their standard kit. It just makes the project more convenient for everyone, and it would impress the customers.

Works well, a bit pricey
Works well.Bought this for a renovation project where I'd be making a lot of dust but had a couple areas that didn't have doors. Given that these are kind of pricey, I bought a new tarp to make a temporary door with this zipper rather than use disposable plastic sheeting. So far it works very well. The adhesive is very good.

Perfect
It's as easy to install as the mfg claims and works just as well at mitigating dust from finished areas. Zippers worked flawlessly over 6 weeks of use and being exposed to insulation, drywall dust, paint, etc. I won't do a remodel job in the future w/o one. Very impressed.
