Detroit Axle - Both (2) Front Lower Driver & Passenger Side Control Arm and Ball Joint Assembly For - 2006-2010 Jeep Commander - [2005-2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee NO SRT8]

I bought these control arms for my 2008 keep commander 4x4 in September 2021. It is now about 1 1/2 months later and the actual control arm is working great. The biggest and most important complain that I have is that the ball joint that it comes with is absolutely garbage. There was lots of noice and cracking when I was turning my steering wheel. I would highly advice additionally investing into Moog ball joints as a compensation for the money that you are about to save. The price for the control arms and the moog ball joints comes out at a cheaper price than purchasing a whole setup through auto zone or any other competitor.

Balljoints are very low quality. Needed replaced less than 6 months later. Moog is the way to go. Thankfully, they kept the stock size balljoint for the lower, as they designed their own UCA’s which created a huge problem.

Great control arms. Replaced my 2007 jeep grand cherokee control arms. Cheap grease nipple. I recommend immediately replacing them with sturdy ones.

I've replaced lower control arm on my jeep with the Detroit Axle parts i purchased and from the first day after installing the control arm assembly and greasing the ball joints they have been making noise...not happy that i need to replace the ball joints again.
