This fits my IQAir purifier. It is the right size.The only drawback is that the filter does not ship with instructions on how to reset the filter hours count in the IQAir (which tells you how much life is left on the filters).The steps to do this are non-intuitive. I've used OEM filters which come with a 1 page sheet of instructions. It is not rocket science, but it sure isn't something I would remember.As for the quality of the pre-filter... I don't have a air particulate tester so am unable to say how well this works.

This does indeed fit the prefilter slot for my IQ Air.In terms of quality, it seems fine but hard to tell - this basically just extends the life of the separate charcoal and HEPA filters in the unit by filtering out larger particles like dust. It does that from what I can tell, but my air quality readings don't change with it. Of the filters to replace, the prefilter is the one that you don't have to be picky about. 4 stars.

This will not fit an IQAir Health pro plus. This is not a replacement filter for a "Pre Max" stage 1 filter.A real IQAir Premax filter is 13x13. This is 12" 7/8" x 12" 7/8". That 1/8" is needed folks or the filter will not seal in the filter housing and you'll have an air leak and the unit will not filter air!

Product was of high quality and easy to replace in unit.

I have had IQ Air units for many years now. I was lucky enough to find a 3rd party vendor early on. Their filters have a metal frame and nice seals on them.These are nothing like that. This is someone's attempt to make a filter as cheaply as possible. Unfortunately, the price is about what I've been paying.I wouldn't recommend these.As for the person who said this:"I replaced my IQ Air Health Pro 250 original Pre-Max Filter with this, but the control panel still shows Replace filter"You have to reset the filter counters manually.
