This is a great kettle. Several things make it great. Nearly all stainless steel construction and clear push button controls are two of them. The third thing I like about this kettle is that you select the temperature you want the water to be and when the water gets to that temperature the kettle stops heating. There is also an option for the kettle to "hold", which means that the kettle power will cycle on and off just enough to keep the water at the temperature you selected. So civilized.

Simple, easy to clean, durable, and solid capacity. Heating presets are consistently useful and relevant to use cases. It's very convenient and looks nice.

The media could not be loaded. For me, this is the *PERFECT* electric kettle. After EXTENSIVELY looking at electric kettles (translation: going down an adhd-fueled hyperfocus rabbit hole🙃), this was the first one I came across with all the required and bonus features I was looking for in a kettle that also didn't cost over $100 (I bought mine on sale for $69.99 on Black Friday).The absolute best feature for me is the minimum fill. While the fill window starts at two cups, the actual minimum fill for the kettle is only one (there are min and max markers inside the kettle; the min falls below the fill window). Most electric kettles have a minimum fill of 2 cups, which is too much for me 75% of the time. As an added bonus, boiling one cup from room temperature is FAST! In my experience, boiling takes less than 90 seconds. Basically, by the time I get my mug out and ready, the water is ready to pour. Other features I appreciate about this kettle are that it's easy to use and clean, aesthetically pleasing, and has minimal plastic parts.Some added context for my review:- I've been using the product for four months now.- I use the kettle often, but not daily.- I primarily boil 1-2 cups at a time but have also had no issues when using its full capacity.- I never boil anything other than plain water.- I am a stickler for using ONLY purified or distilled water (we have really hard well water that would absolutely this thing otherwise).

The headline summarizes my initial experience with this kettle. I tested the displayed temperature using a ThermaPro Dot, and found essentially no difference other than a small time lag when the water was heating or cooling. (Which I don't find surprising or concerning; this isn't a lab instrument.)I drink coffee I prepare in a coffee press, and I find that I like the coffee much better if I use water at 200 deg. My family also drinks various kinds of tea, ranging from black teas that we like to prepare using water at the boil, as well as various green and herbal teas that ideally want cooler temperatures. This kettle meets all those needs, and allows us to get the water to the desired temperature and avoid guesswork.My somewhat minor criticisms are: (1) It would have been better to have separate displays for the target and current temps, having the one display do both jobs makes it confusing sometimes. (2) The buttons for the various presets should really show the target temp, not beverage labels. Or maybe show both. (3) The little plastic doohickey inside to show the water level, and the plastic-enclosed strainer that sits in it, are both unnecessary. Fortunately they're not hard to remove, although that does leave a big open spout that you have to be careful about when pouring. (The water level shows quite clearly from outside on the back.)Overall I'm happy with this product, and recommend it if you're fussy about getting the water temp right for your hot beverages. I think the price is quite reasonable, especially when compared with other kettles that have preset target temps and current temp display.

I recently purchased this item, and overall, I’m quite satisfied with it. The quality meets expectations, and it performs as described. It arrived on time and was well-packaged. While there might be minor areas for improvement, it serves its purpose well and offers good value for the price. I would recommend it to others looking for something similar.

Very functional and easy to use.

It won't last! The 1st one I bought lasted about 10 months before the "keep warm" feature started acting strange. It would sit there and just quickly click on/off non stop. I contacted tech support, and after some testing, they sent me a new main Kettle. That didn't fix the problem, so I contacted tech support again, and again after some testing, they sent me a replacement base (not before they made me cut the cord on the old base). That finally fixed the keep-warm clicking problem. Fast forward another 8 months, and the keep-warm clicking is back. But worse this time. Now the contacts to the base seem to be getting dirty or something, because I have to fiddle with the kettle on the base to activate any of it's boil settings. The final straw, now it will not stop boiling. The water heats up, the beep sounds, the lights turn off, and the water keep boiling. It boils totally dry! Even after removing the kettle, puring some water into my cup, and returning the kettle, it just starts boiling again. I'm going back to a kettle with the controls in the handle, not the base.
