After a minor surgery, I started using this tape to prevent keloids and it has been a real lifesaver for my skin. From the very first day, it feels soft, does not irritate, and adheres perfectly even in areas with movement.What I liked the most is that it is breathable and almost invisible, so I could wear it all day without discomfort. After a few weeks of consistent use, I noticed that the scar looked much flatter and clearer, with no signs of thickening or redness.The tape is also very easy to cut to the size you need, and it doesn't leave sticky residues when you remove it. What a life changing difference! I burned myself BAD with a curling iron on my face and was so afraid I would be left with a scar on my cheek forever. I used the tape for approximately 6-7 weeks after the blister had heeled and there was no longer an open wound. I cut the tape to the size of the burn every night and the tape stuck well even with my tossing and turning in my sleep. It never left any allergic reaction marks despite my intensely sensitive skin, and made a huge difference! Full disclosure, I did also use ample amounts of aquaphor to keep the spot well hydrated during the day the first two weeks and do use retinol products three times a week. But I truly think the results speak for themselves! Photo progress is from February 22 (when blister was at its worst) to May 3rd.

This is my 4th purchase.It works well when used consistently and when the scar is newer.I used it religiously on my 1st knee replacement scar (left), and the scar looks great. (2 yrs old, but looked that way at about 10 mo post surgery)I used it less consistently on my 2nd knee replacement (right), and I can tell. (1 year post surgery)Trying to make up for it now, and it does seem to be getting better, even at a year old.

Good stuff, not sure if results are what they are made out to be by others.

Update: Althought this did not work for me, the seller reached out concerned about my experience and was absolutely amazing to work with. I am impressed with the high level of customer service. I changed to 3 stars to split the difference. Original: I wanted to love this after all of the great reviews I read but I simply do not. I tried it out for my vertical abdominal incision post-hysterectomy and after having it in contact with my incision for just a few hours, I felt ill - it made my incision extremely sensitive although I am completely healed and that is why I was feeling ill. I tried once more and same issue occurred. I have moved back to Cicacare which never bothers or hurts my incisions.

My husband had two knee replacements this year. The first in Jan and the second in March. We applied this tape on both scars after the sutures were removed and any scab fell off. One can barely see either scar at this point. We probably applied the tape once or twice a week for maybe one month. The tape stayed in place for several days. In the bathtub, one can remove the tape and carefully lay it flat to dry. The tape can be reused after it has dried. Of course, we do not know what the scar would have looked like without the silicone tape, but we are happy with the treated scars.
