Perfect travel companion
This thing is the perfect travel companion for anyone. I am on the go a lot for work and bought this to use with a MacBook that has only USB-C ports to connect to. This has everything I need to get to work. The 10Gbps USB-A and USB-C ports are great for file transfers, the 1 gig networking onboard a must have for IT work, and having HDMI and DisplayPort means I can use any monitor I come across on a job site. Power passthrough is great too, means I don't have to worry about wearing out my other USB-C ports on my laptop and can just connect and disconnect from the hub itself when I have to get up and go.

Works well but pay attention **REVISED**
The device has worked well for me. However potential buyers should note that the 2nd USB C port is reserved for power input from a separately purchased power supply. So the device provides only a single USB C port for attaching devices. I use the device on power from my own computer. So undocking my computer requires some careful steps in the correct sequence: (1) eject all external drives; (2) power down the external display; (3) unplug Anker from computer; (4) remove power from the computer. The device comes at a great price, though, so excellent value.*REVISION*After four months of use, the HDMI port seemed to fail--the monitor was indicating that it was not connected. I wrote to Anker support and received a reply within two hours. The reply told me how to reset the docking station. It worked. Kudoes to Anker Support!

Great Adapter! Changing my rating to 5 stars
Update: By process of elimination, I was able to figure everything out. Firstly, I was using the 30W charger that came with the M1 Macbook Air and not getting the juice that I needed. I then used an Anker 65W I had for a phone in my household and it worked perfectly. I was also getting glitches on the 4K monitor, so I replaced the HDMI cable with a newer and faster one. It works perfectly now (so far), so I'm changing my review from 3 stars to 5 stars. All this being said, I highly recommend this adapter, I'm very happy with it now that I ironed out all the kinks surrounding my own set up. It does exactly what Anker advertises! I'd definitely purchase another in the future as a backup. Also, Anker support reached out to me immediately after seeing this review and offered a full refund. I definitely appreciate the gesture, but I'm going to refuse the refund.Original review:All the ports work as described except for the Power Delivery pass-through. I don't know if I received a bad unit, because my friend has an identical one and it works for him perfectly. My unit charges my M1 Macbook Air very very slowly, and it sometimes loses power while plugged in depending on the weight of the tasks running. That being said, I'm using the 30W charger that came with the laptop.I'm in Panama, so I can't send it back. I hope they see this and send me another unit.

Failed after 22 months light duty
Used this to drive a 1080p 60hz with intended accessories (keyboard, headphones, mouse, ethernet) twice a week. After 20 months the display began to have visual "digital" artifacts. After 22 months the display began to disconnect once every five minutes. I wish this was not disposable hardware. My guess is the design is compact to cut costs and gets too hot for the rated wattage. One of these also failed on me out of the box (which Anker readily troubleshot and replaced). I recommend this product with reservations. 30 pennies per use.

Great usb-c hub that makes switching between devices really nice and easy
I picked this up on prime day and use this hub with my 2023 MacBook Pro as well as my work laptop (Dell Inspiron 5420). It is able to charge both laptops when I use it and output 4K/60Hz to my LG 4K monitor. Gigabit ethernet also works flawlessly with this device and gives a speedy connection whenever I use this hub. With all the ports, I also have the usb receiver for my logitech mouse/keyboard connected to the hub so that I can easily switch devices. One issue I did have is that my older 2017 MacBook Pro will only output at 4K/30Hz when going through this hub. I had to connect that monitor directly to my MBP in order to get 4K/60Hz. This is because the hub uses DisplayPort 1.4 and my older MacBook Pro uses DisplayPort 1.2 (Apple didn't support DP 1.4 until 2018). Although DP 1.2 supports 4K/60, the hub needs 2 of the lanes for gigabit ethernet and usb 3.0, so it can't output 4K/60Hz with these older devices. Since I have 4 usb-c ports on my 2017 MacBook Pro, it isn't really a big deal using 2 ports instead of one.
