Great so far
Neighbor let me borrow his auger to install 4x4 fence posts. He only had a 12” bit. After wrestling that thing and almost tearing my arms off after a couple of holes, i ordered a 10”. Much easier to handle. Has burrowed through about 15” of sandy soil, then under that into 15” of dense clay. Normal scuffing, but no evidence of fractures or any potential failures after a number of holes drilled. When I return auger to neighbor giving this bit to him as a payment for the favor. I’d def buy again.

Exceptional for Backyard DIY Projects
This bit cut through the ground exceptionally well when paired with my Xtremepower electric auger. Seriously, probably 15 minutes and done per hole. It had no problem cutting through dead fairly large tree roots in the ground. I also had to cut through numerous small live roots that were as large as an inch or so in diameter. It yields a perfectly round hole and, after using a shop vac to suck out the debris in the bottom of the hole, a perfectly flat round bottom.Just how exceptional it worked was revealed to me when I compared it to a rental unit in the same soil. I rented a small auger from the orange big-box store so that my helper could work on half the holes while I worked on another set. The rental unit auger bit looked mean and like it was going to rip through the ground. However, my auger with this bit smoked the rental auger with the mean looking bit. This bit cut through the same soil *at least* 4x faster.

Badass auger bit
I bought the electric auger on here to sink some pilings and this bit ate through the dirt. It did hiccup some when hitting a rock or two, but hands down dug a 24” hole in a few mins. Worth every penny.

Well built
Hit concrete, big chunks of rock and 2-4" tree roots. Held up great, no issues with it at all.

Worked perfectly.
It worked awesome. I have zero complaints about this 10" auger.
