Tortoises don't like it.... but
My adult spur thigh tortoises consistently turned their noses up at this food. I always try to feed them fresh weeds but sometimes that's just not an option - for example over wintering a tortoise. I mix this with dandelion heads (or dried dandelions heads) soaked in water and then make up into a jelly using Agar Agar, and I also add a small amount of suitable reptile calcium powder. I sometimes add Komodo Tortoise pellets as well. However, with or without the Komodo pellets, all of the tortoises love this in Agar Agar gel. I'm happy as this also ensure they are taking on plenty of water through the jelly to keep hydrated. They love it so much that even during spring and summer when fresh weeds are readily accessible, I will treat them to this a couple of times a month and this also ensure they are getting sufficient fibre, calcium and water. If I need to worm them, I make a very small batch in a single ice cube container and add the appropriate amount of worming medication. I know they will devour the entire 'cube' and that way I know they have had all of the required amount of medication. I definitely would recommend this product.

Great quality product but fussy horsefield
Great quality product and they expand well (we used an old baby bottle lid). Just a shame that our horsefield is a fussy bugger who hasn't entertained them yet. He will eventually...
