Amazing quality and value
I bought this duck fat because I love cooking with duck fat, but buying it in gourmet shops in tiny jars is many times more expensive, and I don't roast a duck often enough to collect duck fat. I didn't take as much of a chance on this as it sounds (it's a lot, 2.4L of duck fat), since I've already used the goose fat sold by Amazon from same brand and it was excellent.Well, if goose fat was excellent, this is even more so - it's smoother, has a lovely mild flavor, and is extremely soft - scoopable and spreadable even from the fridge. The quality is first-rate, and while I haven't yet roasted potatoes in this on high temperature, I've used it to saute in, and it's fantastic. Not at all in any way worse than the much more expensive varieties.

Great Stuff
I bought this and then my wife ordered me some as a little gift not knowing i'd already ordered, she also didn't realise it came as a pack of two and so I ended up with 6kg!Never mind, it makes wicked roast potatoes, works wonders for Yorkshire puddings and adds a bit of flavour to your chicken gravy! It's a kitchen essential and really good value (but you don't need 6kg at once!)

Good stuff
Iβm no expert on cooking but this duck fat does the job , works out cheaper then buying them smaller Jars from supermarket . Shelf life is forever . Itβs a very smooth fat solid in the fridge but soft enough to easily get a spoonful . A a nice little extra layer of flavour to fried food , for example i used a spoonful last night to cook sausages and the flavour of the fat came threw in a subtle sweet way .

Lovely stuff, and a good buy too
Duck fat in general is very nice making some of the nicest tasting things you can imagine, and this Cooks & Co product is right up there in quality along with the little jars you can buy locally at about three times the price per gramme. My Nov 2015 delivery was dated "best before 02/2018", it doesn't stand much chance of still being around then, but a decent life expectancy if that was a concern. Lovely stuff, and a good buy too.

duck fat
WE BOUGHT THE DUCK FAT AS IT CAME WITH OUR GOOSE FAT AT A GREAT PRICE.We have discovered that the duck fat is great for cooking.we do not fry anything in our house but we thought that since we bought the duck fat we give it a try.The food tasted great .These size containers are very big so when we bought the duck and the goose fat we shared the cost with our family members , and every one gets to cook with it .a good deal all-round .

Worth the money.
Utterly delicious! I use it in my actifry to make duck fat chips, and it really lifts the flavour. You don't need much - a level tablespoon at most, so it's great value for money. The shelf life on the jars I got is 2 years, so there's no rush to use it all.

Brilliant
My second lot. Has an amazing long life, I'm talking over two years. Just cook with it then any that's left put it back in the jar when cold.Makes the most amazing chips π. Cut and plsnch your potatoes then cook in the fat for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove from the fat and let go cold. Then when you want to Finnish them off back in the hot fat untill golden brown. If they don't turn brown put in a very hot oven.
