These shoe laces work great and were very easy to install. Just cut to length at the end and cap them off. Brought new life to my work shoes and look even better than the originals.

these are a time saver, they have turned my hiking boots into slip-ons (ok, almost) they look great, work well. The length is great and customizable. Just the right amount of stretchy!

Worked very well to make gym shoes easy in and out slip ons to reduce transaction time. Stayed tight on treadmill as well. Easy to set up.

I received this product well packaged and quickly after ordering. It contained 3 pairs (black, white and brown) of elastic shoelaces, adjustable spring to loosen/tighten, lace clip and a small screwdriver. The screwdriver is great for helping you to open the small clip that hold the ends of the laces.I suffer from severe back and hip pain, I needed to find another way to tie my shoes since I could no longer manipulate my body into certain positions.Once received, I quickly got to converting 3 pairs of my sneakers. Tried them on to gage how much slack I would need and where to cut the tips.For those who are stating that the laces do not work as advertised, I have a funny feeling that you didn't thread these properly. When threading the laces through the spring action round, you need to hold down the button on the top, then thread the laces through. Once you do this, the spring has something to grab ahold of to tighten/loosen the laces. Otherwise, if you just slide it through, without holding down the button, the round button will just slide up/down because it doesn't have anything there helping it to grab onto the laces.Once you have tried your shoes back on and find how much slack you need, you will need to cut the hard tips off of the laces. I couldn't close the final clip without doing so. I also followed other reviewers tip of using a lighter to seal the cut laces before closing the clip. You do need a good bit of strength to close the final clip. So, if you have weaker hands, you may want to make sure someone who has a bit more strength is around to close the final clip.Also, make sure that you've threaded the laces with the button facing up. I had accidentally done one facing down and hadn't realized until I had completed setting up the lace. This is where the small screwdriver comes in handy. I was able to quickly open the small clip, pull off the button, re-thread with the button facing up, reattached final clip and was ready to go.This is a great item for anyone or those, like myself, who are disabled or for small children who haven't yet learned how to tie their own shoe's. This item gives you the convenience of being able to just slide your foot into your favorite lace up shoes without the worry of how am I going to tie them. Plus, you'll never need to worry about your shoelaces coming untied and tripping.All in all I am very happy with these new laces. The price point was inexpensive for 3 pairs of lace. Plus, they come in a variety of colors that you can change your look anytime you wish. The laces feel quite sturdy for having elastic. They should last a good bit of time depending on how often you wear said shoes. I think the laces will outlast the shoe itself.I hope you find this product as easy to use as I did. And, that they're just as convenient for you.

Ordered these laces for an older pair of water shoes. They worked well for my trip. The snap was a little hard to get off, but that just means you will not lose it in the end. Nice color. Good length - and you can cut the ends to shorten them.

Very Cheap.However, My five year old loved it!We used it for his basketball shoes.I didn’t like the material it was flaky but held up for two months of sports.I would probably not buy again.

I just put these on my 11 year old's shoes prior to his going to camp. It took a little time to understand but once you do it's very easy to install. Just put in the new laces, and shove them in the press thing. The harder part was getting the piece that holds the lose shoelaces open and shut. Once you closed shoelace end holder you need to use the tool to re-open it if you need to. It does reopen, but you have to use the screwdriver that comes in the kit. So give yourself 15-30 minutes to get the hang of it. But once you do, it's AMAZING. My son loves them, and I think we will be using these for all of our kid shoes going forward. Although this also means my kid may never learn to tie his shoelaces! :)

This isn’t a one star product… It’s actually a zero star product, and my mind is blown at the number of positive reviews it has received. First off: I’d like to say that I know a thing or two about shoes ( having been a footwear specialist for New Balance, REI, and Hudson Trail). I purchased these laces to put on a new pair of trail running shoes. After installing the first lace, I pulled on it and the pull tab at the end immediately came loose. I suspected this may be due to the ends of the lace fraying from having been cut, so on the second lace I burned the ends with a lighter to eliminate the frayed edges. I then installed the shoelace and when I pulled on it, it immediately came loose as well. The amount of force that it took to pull it loose could easily be generated by a very young child, perhaps even an infant. No I am not exaggerating, a toddler would easily tear through this thing like a hot knife through butter. I then used the included screwdriver to attempt removal. Immediately it became apparent to me that this task would be extremely difficult due to the fact that holding the pull tab requires you to apply pressure to either side with your fingers, thus squeezing it closed while you are attempting to open it with the screwdriver. After a dozen or so strategies of various way to hold the pull tab/angle the screwdriver, the plastic was so deformed from the screwdriver that even if I had gotten it open, it would almost definitely not be closable again. Unfortunately, this product is a waste of your money, a waste of material goods and energy, an ultimately just a bunch of plastic that’s going to end up in a landfill or floating in the ocean because it’s entirely useless and has essentially nonexistent durability. My advice? Buy a shoe already designed with an integrated speed lace or boa system, or simply use a normal shoelace and double knot your shoes. The concept is excellent on paper, but the execution is just abysmal.
