I recently purchased the AUCELI Magnetic Spark Plug Socket, hoping it would be a valuable addition to my toolkit. Unfortunately, it fell short of expectations in several areas. The 14mm thin-walled swivel socket, while seemingly a good idea, is poorly executed in this tool. It lacks the necessary sturdiness and precision.Firstly, the magnet inside the socket is weak, leading to frustrating instances where the spark plug would not stay attached. This is a significant drawback, especially when working in tight engine spaces where dropping a spark plug can be a nuisance. Additionally, the thin walls of the socket felt flimsy and prone to warping or damage, raising concerns about longevity and durability.The swivel design, intended for ease of use, actually complicates the process. It's too loose, causing a lack of control and precision when attempting to align the socket with the spark plug. This design flaw undermines the tool's primary purpose and makes it more challenging to use than traditional sockets.Another issue is the size compatibility. Although it's marketed as a universal standard 3.8-inch spark plug socket set, I found it didn't fit some of the common vehicle models I worked on. This lack of universality limits its usefulness significantly.Lastly, the aesthetic appeal of the silver finish can't mask these functional shortcomings. It's a case of style over substance, which is disappointing for a tool that should prioritize performance.In summary, the AUCELI Magnetic Spark Plug Socket is a letdown. Its weak magnet, flimsy construction, impractical swivel design, and limited size compatibility make it a tool I cannot recommend. There are better, more reliable options available for both professional and amateur mechanics.

I bought this for my 2017 Mercedes E400 wagon as my #1 plug was fouling out. I didn’t find any clear instructions on removing the covers, fuel, rails, plugs, headers, etc. Sometimes, if you look up how to work on a German car, it’s a black hole. I bought the spark plug socket specifically for one plug, and I was shocked at how easy all the plugs were to remove. You don’t need an intake gasket, you don’t need a masters degree, it’s straightforward easy to remove plugs for a shade tree mechanic. The socket is very thin walled and fit easily in the engine block. It feels like it will be durable and long lasting, and works well. Defined durable part for a German car that’s affordable is a nice treat, and I recommend this one.

I love these things! It was super helpful. It went a lot harder without the magnet. It's a decently strong magnet. It will do the jobThe quality seems a little lacking, but as long as you don't mistreat it too much it should hold up.I have a 2005 Tahoe LS and it fit my spark plugs just fine
