Spectrum Smart Data Only SIM Card: for Security Cameras, Trail Cameras, Hunting Cameras, Hotspots, Tablets, No Voice & No Text

I needed a data only SIM card and service for my ATOTO S8 Radio Head unit in my car. I went to VERIZON and found that they are going to charge $35 initial setup fee and $20 per month for data that I may or may not use. I thought this might be a good alternative. $5 for a SIM card seems a bit much, but the ability to refill the card as necessary is a plus for me. I took a chance. I will say that this provider's customer service is stellar. I used their AI Chatbot to get help, it was pretty good. I also sent E-mails and received a human reply within 24 hours. The technical help was accurate and delivered in real English language, obviously was a response from a fluent English speaker. It took a bit of fiddling and some excellent customer support from ATOTO as well. I got the system working and so far, am satisfied. Time will tell if my satisfaction continues, but I see no reason that it would not do so. Data is not cheap, but this is something that the individual will need to weigh in their own situation. Do the math and see if this service will work for you.

This SIM card has worked perfectly for my project! The web app for it is very easy to use. I was able to set it up and add data within minutes. I'm using it in a mini PCI-E to USB adapter with SIM card slot for 3G / 4G network cards. The adapter is hooked up to my Raspberry Pi 5. Everything is now configured and works seamlessly. Customer service is top notch - they are there right away when you have a question and are very pleasant to deal with. Will do biz again!

The instructions provided a path easy install and activation. No problems other than my camera had to be power cycled when my vard accidentally ran it of data. Additional data was immediately added once paid for on their website. Power cycling the camera was a problem because it was placed in a remote location. So I was without security until I could make it to the site.

This is a great company to work with in that they sent me 5 emails after I purchased the card and then the service package that was right for me. Thy offer help even though I didn’t ask, they noticed that I had not used my account and wanted to know if I needed help. Who does that now days, follow up without me calling, they just wanted to help. I would highly recommend using them.

Received this to put in my Android radio. Works about 95% of the time. The other 5% is prob when I'm very rural areas (I live in Mississippi, so there's that). Overall, very happy with the product and recommend. Monthly plans aren't outrageous. I've got a 5 gig plan for $25 a month, and any unused data can roll over.I've had a few questions about it and tech support has always responded within at least 24 hours.

Purchased several of these puffin sims cards no issues at all their is a website that helps you to setup the sims on various devices and a support Assistant once you’ve logged onto the account site. Used on several gps and a hotspot. Signal and connectivity are great and the price is very reasonable the SIM cards are designed to fit on various devices by sizing the gps location coverage is very well established
